  1. Past hour
  2. Where has this notion that Dolan was previously offered a new deal or refused to entertain a new deal come from? I'm going to call BS on that one. He signed one new deal after being at the Club and there's no way he would have refused to sign another improved deal a while ago.
  3. Given he has know for months he was leaving Rovers this season why hasn't he got a club yet. I know that doesn't fit with your narrative on here
  4. India seven down, 100 runs from victory. Tense, thrilling, could go either way. Test cricket at its finest
  5. Afraid this doesn't work when we needed him to play 90% of games due to a death of competition.
  6. Many of those links is just agent/clubtalk. Those who have signed was linked just a day/same day as signed. Some agent just throws their clients name out to hope off a better deal or another club throwing in a bid. Or a sellingclub hoping for a biddingwar. Many players have different agents for different areas. Some work with English club, some with other countries.
  7. Insurance? A hedge against the cost of a season ticket? πŸ€”
  8. Dolan had an early period when he showed promise. He hadn't yet turned in his later performances that now make him attractive to other teams. My conversation with him would have happened in his season #2 along the lines of: "You obviously have great potential, one day you'll be well sought after. Right now though I need to think about the club. You'll grow from being here, you'll play a lot so I need to protect your value to us before putting in the work to grow you and raise your profile. Sign this." If no: "Then I'll have to ask you to start looking for another club as you won't be developing at our expense any more. You're in the U21 until you leave or reconsider". "We like you a lot TD but that's how it is. Let me know what you decide by next week." Something like that.
  9. The amount of money they're making and saving at the expense of the squad is insane... even managed to get Β£750k for our last gaffer ffs. The Venky's must be absolutely delighted.
  10. I would have thought Dolan would keep his options open at least until he finds a new club. Seems odd to close his rovers career out before he has found anything better.
  11. Got him! and Sundar goes - wonder if he still thinks India will definitely win…
  12. Dropping the percentage by another 3%, we're now at just 30% signed; that's only among those strongly linked. Ten linked, three signed... shocking stats, though not surprising. Rovers making 9 signings before pre-season? That’d be like winning the EuroMillions but then finding out it was only for matching four numbers considering the expected quality of those signings. 🀣 Ah, missed off Gassama too ... Drop it to 27%
  13. I can’t ever back against us, even like when we appointed Coyle and I knew it was as good as money in the bank.
  14. What an exciting summer its been so far Rudy and Pasha... 3 random foreigners in for peanuts with no experience or pedigree on low wages 5 first team championship experienced starters out plus all loanees saving a fortune in wages. No contracts sorted for any of our 1st team Sacked the CEO and made a load of backroom staff redundant Sacked off the women's team You are doing a fantastic job keep up the good work! Pretty soon we will have a cost budget to compete with Chorley FC and you can bask in the praise from our chicken overlords.
  15. Pant goes! 5 down with a word in his ear from Archer, need Rahul now. 135,000 tuning in on the bbc app right now.
  16. You've left out Mikael Nade which was again ridiculous wishful thinking from Rovers.
  17. Yep, a top fan going back to early sixties who can count on two hands the number of seasons I DID NOT have season ticket(s) and for many seasons held half a dozen or so season tickets. Also bought corporate facilities. What's your record? Nowt wrong with betting against your team if you believe in a certain outcome. Wrong - check my postings. On match day, usually bet on a single outcome and additionally throw in a 'fun bet' eg correct score, goals over etc.
  18. So, out of players we have signed/been strongly linked to over the course of the window so far (not sure if I have missed any): - Steve Kapaudi - No deal Marwan Al-Sahafi - No deal Ryan Alebiosu - Deal Sidnei Tavares - Deal Dion De Neve - Deal Moussa Baradji - No deal Ethan Pye - No deal Cody Drameh - No deal Sean McLoughlin (I am regurgitating an old name here, I can't remember the name of who it was but sure it was another Hull player) - No deal Prior to pre season starting, we'd reached 33% so already failed that expectation to Val 🀣
  19. You made a good point that VI rightly wanted stuff sorting early. But this is daft - if those three are 90% of his wage bill, no wonder we’re screwed, it would put all three of them on around 6m a season πŸ˜‚
  20. Boro linked to Gilchrist this morning
  21. Me neither, but PSG played like they only had to turn up to win it. I like to see big heads put in their place.
  22. Today
  23. Maybe that's was suhail thought he meant, tragic
  24. How hilarious. Valerian asked for 90% of all signings before pre seasons. He's about to lose the top 90% of his salary bill when Travis, Tronstad and Brittain leave
  25. Let's say the offer from Broughton was to double his pay to Β£6k. He's turned that down holding out for Β£10k+ - an offer which wasn't coming. He's left money on the table backing himself to get a better contract elsewhere.
  26. Seems very plausible to me Broughton who was clearly best ant contracts in his role couldn’t even get a response from Dolan in the summer of 23 then he found a new agent believe it to be the same one as Diaz who has likely been filling his head about potentials offers etc of all that’s messed up at our club this scenario we’re speaking about now I could easily see being the case and I put a lot of ot down to agent as opposed the player himself
