  1. Past hour
  2. Whilst if it’s true and he’s the first manager in history to turn down additional budget- I feel like it’s a given about the owners- they’re wankers. But that’s not who I was talking about.
  3. With this manager, won't make a difference.
  4. Rovers usually do the one year extension job, any news on that ?
  5. Before rallying and winning the last couple of games when it was too late, we had a run of something like seven games without a win. He initially guided us to a position where we almost had our noses above water and he had ample opportunity to keep us up. Not ALL or even primarily his fault of course.
  6. Think what happened last time he started 2 games on the trot, we didn't see him for a month. Its not fatigue, his body literally cant take it
  7. Dapo has signed He's only signed a 1 and a half year deal. Not much confidence from either side about staying up then.
  8. I agree that we shouldnt go back for him, although if its a straight choice between him and Ismael (it isnt) then Mowbray everytime. But the part in bold really has grown legs. Venkys held us back from promotion, not Mowbray. He wasnt capable of getting us promotion although when he had us closest, they again fucked him over before doing so to 2 subsequent managers.
  9. Just a month of pain to go. We're not winning a single one of those games, we'll be cut we'll adrift by the time the full time whistle goes against Derby.
  10. There obviously is a massive excuse for him in why he has struggled in that Sheffield Wednesday team. But there is absolutely no evidence that he is a player that can score goals at this level or is what we need. If you sign him as a project in the summer then fine. Sheffield Wednesday fans even admist their issues dont seem to rate him too highly or seem bothered that hes leaving. Him and Afolayan signing seems almost like a best case scenario at this late stage. It wouldnt be good enough. Afolayan has a bit more credit to his name. Did really well in League 1 and in the 2nd tier in Germany (2 inferior leagues) but obviously has been not up to it in the Bundesliga (a far superior league) so maybe in the Championship which falls between those, he will be useful. But hes not done anything for a year and a half and hasnt played for months. Doesnt scream ready to make an impact right away. Jorgensen doesnt also look like he will add much.
  11. Think position at WBA irretrievable. They look even more hopeless since Ramsay came in. Think only thing they can do hold up their hands, acknowledge they've got it wrong, sack Ramsay and appoint an experienced guy who can hit the ground running - Rowett until end of season.
  12. Thomas Frank is probably available tonight
  13. Suhail and Rudy must have been looking out of the window during maths lessons at school.
  14. A lot of revisionism about Mowbray. He got us promoted from League one at first attempt, which he deserves a lot of credit for, but that’s it really, for me. He talked the club down and allegedly tried to hold us back from going for promotion, telling the owners not to bother with a bigger budget. Never go back, that equally applies to Mowbray too.
  15. If the club insist on keeping Val and Val insists on his formation then surely we need a LWB tomorrow. A late prem loan where we pay 4% of the salary in exchange for guaranteed game time would suit Pasha and Rudy!
  16. Leonard re-posted a message where it was said he rejected a new contract, so it seems the club took that as a sign to cash in.
  17. What formation are we even planning for now? If we sign Cadamarteri we'll have four strikers, so you'd think 3-5-2 but even Ismael knows De Neve can't play wing-back on left, and in any case, why then pursue Afolayan who's a winger? If we are going back to 4-2-3-1 permanently why sign Cadamarteri who won't play behind Gudjohnson and Ohashi as 9? Or is Ohashi back-up to Cantwell as 10, with Morishita, Jorgenson and Afolayan competing on wings? It makes no sense even for us.
  18. Didn't keep us in the league last time!
  19. I think Rovers are in the 'fortunate' position in that despite the shambles enveloping Ewood Park, there are other clubs with their own problems who might just save us from the drop. Sheffield Wednesday are gone WBA in freefall and they look even worse since Ramsay was appointed Oxford have appointed a manager who contrived to take Luton down - doesn't augur well for them Leicester face a substantial points deduction Think the third relegation place is between Rovers, Oxford and Leicester.
  20. Duff is not a efl level manager, div 2 at best, loved him as a player but seems dumb as a box of dildos
  21. 8th I think you'll find, but regardless, I think it's a wind up anyway. If it is it worked judging by the reaction on here.
