Championship Season 25-26

Firstly, I was talking about football when discussing Edwards possible move to Wolves. Edwards's family is based already in Birmingham and he work away. On Rothwell situation, you posted that info and just for the record in his moves to Leeds and Rangers, Rothwell's family stayed down South whilst he lived away from his family. -

Blackburn Rovers is the Towns club. The fans club. They'll never know how it feels to be part of something as big as us despite their fortune. Love over money. -

Derby have won there last 2, beating hull and sheff utd. Southampton took a point off them last month, and they lost to Oxford and Preston in September. -

You can't do more to get supporters back in their seats, 3 wins in a row. -
Pretty sure your family would tell you not to be such a fool! Anyone who turns down an opportunity to give their family a serious uplift in their standard of living and quality of life really needs to give their head a wobble. Alan Pace - if you want to bring me out of retirement for a short term consultancy, I'm ready, willing and able!

Well on numerous occasions, including Derby's manager today, you have accepted location as a reason for someone moving club. Being closer to home, family reasons etc. You did the same with Joe Rothwell to Bournemouth and others. So Rob Edwards, who comes from Telford and who played for Wolves for years, who actually seems to have very strong family ties to that area, yet you don't seem willing to accept this might play a part in him moving there rather than staying with Middlesbrough.

Difficult one to call. A draw would be no surprise. However, if I had to make a bet it would be on Derby as given our player absences, I just can't see us keeping a clean sheet with Derby's physicality and also calamity back in goal. IMO, any stick given to Eustace will be moronic given how he saved us from relegation and left us top sixish. It's our, IMO, moronic owners and executive management who should be getting pelters in no uncertain terms for what they have done to our club including the loss of our last two managers (JDT and JE) who would have given us a very good chance of getting to the PL if backed. -

NOPE. Working nights suit me and my family hence why I work those shifts. -
@chaddyrovers Burnley Football Club offer you a position at Turf Moor at DOUBLE your current salary and there would be no night shifts (which you tell us you do at the moment), presumably, you would take the job given the big changes to the quality of your life it would bring (certainly think your missus would be salivating!).

I just can't help but think it's going to be an opening 10 minutes of Derby testing Pears peppering him with high balls. He has to stand up to it or it will be a long afternoon. -

And? What relevance is this to Rob Edwards taking the Wolves's job? Is Rob's Mrs already located in the midlands? -

Supporters have been the biggest part of Rovers 150 year history. Sadly fans, apart from sales and money making opportunities, do not feature at all in the 150th celebrations. So very wrong and very sad as well. -

My contribution to today 1875 Seventeen gather in a Blackburn pub eyes bright with promise.. 'This will be our club!' Blackburn Rovers, set to thrive Born 1875 In Cotton Town they worked to spin threads of blue and white that would weave within the generations that come between their dream and now They wove the fabric of our club, our town Blue and white shirts of great renown Blue and White ribbons on trophies evince success in every century since History has never seen a more successful small town team What times to be alive! Since 1875 Those threads through history remind us Whatever troubles come to find us Stand tall. Be proud. Let this club bind us Raise our scarves of white and blue Lift hearts and voices too: 'We love you Rovers, we do' Love and pride that still survives Born 1875 -

They expected to fill Ewood Park with home fans which is why they limited Derby to half the DE. That's right, a 12:30pm Championship kick off after everything they have done to humiliate, degrade and alienate and they seriously thought the floodgates would open for fans to come today. As it happens there will of course be over 10,000 empty seats for the biggest milestone in the Club's history. Something for them to pat themselves on the back over. I have no doubt whatsoever that the planned release of the anniversary shirt has been postponed either because they want to first sell off the remaining stock of the 3 main kits or because someone is annoyed that the anniversary shirt has been leaked online this week and is making a point not to release it now. Of course logically having FOUR different kits this season, none of which are particularly impressive efforts, was always going to stretch budgets and luck. The home shirt is the most boring effort I can imagine and has the halves wrong, the gold one I don't understand why pictures of the railway station and Wainwright bridge are being used and the green one has no connection to our history and includes a white rose of Yorkshire, but apparently matches a shade of green contained on the town coat of arms. But even if you loved all three buying them all and then being asked to cough up another £90 for a white shirt with an ironed on cross was a lot to ask. Naturally of course they should have done what was suggested on here - have a proper anniversary home shirt that was released in the summer and worn all season - an all white one if necessary - and then a decent away one like all gold to honour the occasion. Job done. Two unique shirts for a one-off season. No need for fiasco or confusion. -

The support is there if this club ever got serious again (it won’t under this regime, so there is only one outcome that can lead to it). -

Reading the first page of this thread and Bill Fox was quoted about how blue and white has always been our colours, imagine the conversation with him over basing our whole 150th on Maltese crosses (and white smocks if they ever actually get round to having a commemorative shirt). But then he was a Blackburn and Rovers man through and through, unlike whatever that place is supposed to be now. -

Hope the fans have learned their lesson about chanting and booing and waving snakes at Eustace. It worked really well last year at Pride Park, 2-0 down after less than 10 mins and we had to take 85 mins of non-stop goading from the Derby fans, we looked like morons. If people think the way to support the club is to boo a manager who walked out because we are run like a pub team then they're a dream for Pasha and the Venks. Everyone needs to ignore Eustace, Weimann, et al today and if anyone has something bad to say aim it at that directors box in the JW. -

Someone forgot to press send for Lewis O'Brien Someone forgot to press send on Duncan Maguire Someone forgot we're famous for playing on blue and white halves, not school polo shirts with a blue cross ironed on Someone forgot to check we're legally allowed beer in seats before pressing send Someone seems to have forgotten they told us there would be an anniversary shirt, even though it seems to be a shite looking one that they haven't released on the anniversary. Everything is fine though because we got a video from Alan Shearer. You could release a full-length hard back glossy photo book of all the absolutely stupid shit these idiots have done in the last 15 years just like the one they've released for the 150, it would win a number of prizes for fiction, no one would believe it was real.
