  1. Past hour
  2. You have also predicted imminent administration for about 10 years in a row to be fair.
  3. I posted about an hour ago that i thought we are not that far off rock bottom - how much evidence does any supporter need!? Eustace from a top 6 club to a bottom 3 club, Travis maybe to Wrexham and make no mistake there will be more 'headlines'. Think the writing is on the wall about Brittain and Tronstrad. With Pasha and Gestede effectively running Rovers, nothing at all would surprise me. I shudder about their abilities for such roles - totally unsuited IMO. Wonder what those who have bought season tickets are thinking? Think pants have well and truly been pulled down.
  4. The urgent priority when the season ended was to tie key players down to new contracts. Brittain, Batth, Travis, Tronstad and Dolan. These are the mainstays of the team that got us to the brink of the playoffs last season. Zero contracts signed so far and very little talk of anything imminent. Seeing as players have stated they want to stay, they shouldn’t be hard deals to complete. You have to assume the plan is to sell the players. More asset stripping.
  5. Remember that the real headline here is that Rovers want to sell their captain (and indeed anyone else they can get money for). If they didn't want to sell them they would have tried to keep them beyond next summer. They haven't tried, so they want them to go. Who they go to and how much we get are secondary.
  6. I wonder what we will spend the 3 million on: Electricity. Going away party for Waggot. Microsoft Excel training course for Gestede. loan deal for a 16 year old Liverpool player that will be ready for Championship foolball in 4 years. More Indian solicitors to see if they can push the court date out even further.
  7. I remain convinced that even though they aren't looking for a CEO (they are looking for a public face and a box-ticker) they still won't even be able to get that over the line and instead will muddle on with Pasha-Sufi-Gestede-Talbot basically managing between them, and a charade that they are actively seeking a CEO. They will only actually get one if the heat on Venkys and Pasha gets too high or if that gang can't cope with the demands of the job between them. Truly frightening stuff considering where this club has been and should be. I wouldn't trust any one of them to run a bath. I keep on saying it but this is a club in complete and utter crisis, once again imposed by unfit wretched owners, and the only thing covering for that up to press has been the remnants of a solid squad and good management from JDT and Eustace. The party is inevitably going to come to a shuddering and horrific end, that is an inevitable consequence of choices made by these owners and their minions. Unfortunately too many supporters are deluded that because results have kept on coming things are fine, or because the local media won't report on the very serious issues in India (because they can't be arsed and don't understand it) people can just ignore it and pretend these owners are necessary to our future. A ridiculous opinion in my view but hey ho I think they call it stockholm syndrome. Bring it on I say. Appoint a complete buffoon as CEO or even better let the stooges already in place pick up the slack. All it will do is bring the shambles into clearer focus and wake a few up.
  8. Remember when everyone laughed when Eustace was linked with Derby. Travis will be sold.
  9. our fans are extremely naive to be laughing this one of an all.
  10. haven’t seen any movement on that player we were in β€˜advanced talks’ with but I guarantee we’ll see movement on selling Travis. We’re all over the sales but buying players no.
  11. Selling our captain and one of our best players to Wrexham would I think be a new low.
  12. You have to chuckle. Selling our club captain (who's in the last year of his deal because we can't authorise contract suitable extensions) to a newly promoted team is quite amusing. About as amusing as losing Eustace to Derby. Football purgatory. Embrace it.
  13. I find the strength of opinion against him to be strange, but what players say about the staff is meaningless. Obviously they will speak highly of him.
  14. Today
  15. As Exiled Rover just said Celtic have won every single title since 2011-12 until now except that one. If anything you just proved my point even more. The most Mickey Mouse league in the history of the game. A one team league.
  16. Same with David Lowe! Think Eustace saw through Lowe and tried to sideline him with scouting missions. Eustace leaves and Lowe interim Head Coach! Think we are one great mess with, IMO, too many in the club who fail to meet the required standard but seemingly untouchable. Think there has been so much dumbing down across all areas in Rovers that we are not that far off rock bottom. What would you really expect the lad to say when he's been given a new contract!? Think the view of one of the world's best goalies (Raya) would be more pertinent given one of the reasons for him leaving the club was seemingly to team up with the Spanish goalie coach at Brentford.
  17. They are destroying the club by a thousand cuts, appalling.
  18. Ewood is mothballed already - the stadium is filthy.
  19. Rovers play at Clitheroe, mothball Ewood in our 150th year, job done?
  20. Our best GK in recent times (Kaminski) spoke really highly of Benson, during his time here. Not sure why so many people seem to have such a low opinion of him, to be honest.
  21. Don't tell Suhail, it'll be the next cost saving measure. Why waste money on opening Ewood up.
  22. Maybe he knows the same stuff as DL?
