If we did get back to the Premier League, they can walk away and claim their tenure was a success, claim the Premier League money to pay off debts to them and then sell up in the belief that more people will be willing to buy a Premier League team. I don’t think the “legal “issues”” will make any difference to them owning us, at the moment it’s only a civil case and not a legal case. As far as their business collapsing, the VH group had an annual turnover last year over a billion pounds, so the money they put into “this pointless project” is insignificant in their company.

He cares about the revenue that they bring in, especially from season tickets. There's absolutely no excuse to not join in and try to do something to force them out. Refusal to participate helps venkys.

I wish Dunn FC i think it was hadn't got themselves banned off here he or she certainly had their finger on the pulse with V's background activities. -
That’s relying on believing that Pasha actually cares about the fans, which recent actions suggest he doesn’t. The owners will probably not have an interest or even see what the actual crowd will be. As far next season’s season ticket sales, Pasha will be keeping his fingers crossed that the boycotts peter out, like they’ve done before.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

But if he completes a certain number of mins there and a certain set of stats he might actually plunder a goal. Then his value to be sold back abroad has increased which is all these clowns are really bothered about. -
Surely they'd be less likely to walk away in the PL (if they ever allowed us to get there)? Overnight their annual losses would stop and even an immediate relegation would take away the financial pressure for a few years. No doubt they'd also bask in the glory and turn up for a game against Man Utd / Liverpool with their mates as well. No I'm convinced the only way it ends is through financial or legal necessity. I had hoped the legal 'issues' in India were the start of the end but it seems not. So instead I'll just have to go back to hoping that their empire collapses and can no longer sustain the cost of this pointless project.

He seems to have links to a few different firms in Switzerland / Zurich area involved in finance circles. Photo on those websites matches from his playing days. Always interesting and thought provoking when snippets of information emerge about their activities. -

I don’t believe the notion that they’re sabotaging our prospects of promotion or wouldn’t want it. I’ve no idea why they still want to own us, the only reason I can think off is they don’t want the shame of walking away as failure (even though most would agree it is). I can see them more likely to sell the club if we were in the Premier League, which unfortunately won’t happen.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

To be fair I'm relatively confident that the dumbest AI in the world could look at the data and conclude Henriksson up front doesn't work. -
If getting back to the PL was even remotely of interest or on their radar then they would have conducted themselves very differently over the last 3-4 years. Like offering a drop of support to the 3 managers that got them within touching distance, not sold off all their best players, not undermined them, not allowed the last two to engineer moves away mid-season. That sort of thing. So we can safely drop the notion that they are waiting for a miraculous / unexpected return to PL riches. They've made it as clear as they possibly can they aren't interested and will actively sabotage our prospects of promotion if they can.

I'll also overlook my dislike for ai in this instance, as it's a campaign against the ownership which I despise and I presume cost was the overriding factor here. -
I'm always doubtful about Guardiola teams these days. He seems to want to be the centre of attention and when a player starts to take the headlines, somehow, I get the impression he tries to defuse them in favour of a collective approach. That said, there's no doubt that Haaland, De Bruyne and Foden have been exceptional as individuals at times. However, for example, I look at the Haaland in Germany who was full of attitude and a monstrous figure charging with the ball, is now all but a goal poacher. Foden was a title-charging wizard and then fizzled out to seeming like a lost kid. Then there's the defence that gets shifted around and the side now have no outstanding centre back, with Ruben Dias falling off form. To some extent, I think Wenger followed a similar path, where in his latter years seemed reluctant to allow his players to outshine him.

Lets not bother then and continue in this perpetual cycle of purgatory. This is a visual message to Pasha as much as it is the owners. If he sees how many have not bothered going he will be very concerned for his position moving forward. Massive reduction in season tickets next season, he will have to do something more than fleece the loyal die hards. I genuinely think he believes it is a minority who want him and the Venkys gone, he lives on an echo chamber of sychophants. We all need to do our bit to show the true numbers. No other way to be seen or heard. - Today

The fans are as much to blame, doing that stupid ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh whey celebration with him at the end of every game that rovers didn’t lose. The same kind who won’t hesitate to attend the Watford game, clueless bunch the remaining attendees at ewood (most of them anyway). -

So a striker with a 6 goals in 60 appearances (but did head a ball five yards to a teammate once too) gets a ‘thanks for the memories’ send off … seems about right for this regime. -

I don’t like the use of AI (in general not just here) but I really hope the video gets some traction. I hope that we can remain reasonable with each other, I’m neither an official boycotter or attendee vs Watford, I’m in the majority perhaps, the natural boycotter after years of neglect. Seeing sniping on twitter and it’s just what the powers that be would want -

I don’t think the boycott will any difference at all, especially when it’s a league game. I think, at best, the owners are indifferent and any news seems to go through Pasha. He’ll just point to the official attendance figure that will be around 10k, if not higher.

In fairness that flick head on to Weimann against them lot, Sheffield Wednesday away, WBA away and pne home. More so the flick on if it weren’t for that, Weimann probably would not have scored that screamer. I liked his character, just didn’t work out under val. -

Also something which may or may not be of interest it seems Barry and Bro set up a company in Switzerland in 2024- Venkys Europe AG - that appears to be listed as an investment company. The 1 other name with them on that is someone called Daniel Steuble which also seems to match the name of an ex player and now finance director of a club named FC Uzwil......
