  1. Past hour
  2. Ah, yes of course, wasn't thinking about that! Makes the offer slightly more attractive for the floating fans that's desperate to go to this game then. Trouble is, after one win in eight, I dont think there'll be many if any at all.
  3. Well, for me, it's like the guilt for missing Sunday Mass. I was uncomfortable in deciding not to go to the Tuesday night QPR game...and I have a season ticket lol Worry not, though. These Venky bastards will push me towards a proper lapsed status before long . Where the fuck are The Coalition??!
  4. ‘Nobody would be interested in Rovers’… but Hollywood stars would be more than willing to take bloody Wrexham through the divisions whilst transforming its infrastructure.
  5. By getting on the front foot from the first whistle and winning a few games. Until that happens the atmosphere is bound to be shite irrespective of how many are in the ground or what gimmickry you can come up with pre match. You can put lipstick on a pig but............ As the old saying goes.
  6. You'd expect this run of away form to end at some point, let's hope it's not tomorrow. As far as Wrexham are concerned what must it be like to follow a Club where the owners are ambitious and want to win promotion? Has no-one told them the idea is to sell all your best players and try to become "sustainable"?
  7. First available date for the abandoned Ipswich game was W/C 27th October, which was also half term week. Logically thats where the Ipswich game should have gone, more chance of attracting a few more fans in half term and better for Ipswich fans too if parents etc wanted to take any under 16s etc. The extra days rest doesn't mean much as we have seen loads of times, we had an extra day over QPR before Wednesday's game but it looked like we had played a full game at 3pm aswell that day.
  8. A midfield so grim even you dont predict a victory. Gueye doesnt win headers though. No way does playing him benefit us in any way.
  9. They don't want over 20k here, far too much hassle for everyone involved. £10 to bring a friend against Ipswich is a laughable offer.
  10. Today
  11. I have a feeling he will, but it won't be because he's improved any.
  12. It’s his job for as long as he wants it. Out of all of the managers under this lot he smells the most like being the one to really ride that Venky’s gravy train. As for Suhail and Rudy, what’s not to like with Val? He’s content when you sell your best players and bring in random foreigners as cheap replacements. And most importantly, he never digs you out or name drops in the media even when you’re on a terrible run and getting a small grilling yourself.
  13. Ipswich flying at the moment too where as we can’t even draw a match at Ewood let alone win one. I feel like a loss there - irrespective of tomorrows result - could have another huge impact psychologically, especially with our excuse culture.
  14. At most clubs who had finished 7th the season before, this dire home form combined with our league position would see the manager and board under severe pressure. Not here though. Just another day. A long, dark nightmare of a day that began on 19/11/2010.
  15. The first available date would have been a week or two after the original date. Can only assume Rovers/Ipswich felt that to be inconvenient but it could have been played and dealt with. Agree it is ridiculous to be squeezing it into this period of the season
  16. Whatever happened to the days when away games were always problematical but you could be reasonably confident of winning at home ? It would have been better for attendances if our home/away form could be reversed.
  17. and to consistently win games IS entertaining.
  18. I accept that 100% but without making 10/15 pounds for midweek games(which I would be in favour), I'm not sure how we can attract more fans which they have access at home to watch and can stay warm at home in these winter months
  19. I see Ipswich play tonight. Not only do they get to replay a game they looked very much like losing but they get extra time to get ready for it !
  20. It certainly helps. Being entertained is another one.
  21. Ismael hoping to have player(s) back tomorrow. Can only assume Cantwell and maybe Toth if his injury wasn't as bad as feared. On another note Ipswich play tonight before Tuesday's game. Has to be another advantage to them to have the extra recovery time. Still don't understand why this fixture was squeezed into the the busiest period of the season. Whether it was the first available date or not, we should have made the bastards wait for a convenient date for us,
  22. That's as bad a stat and reflection on Ismael as any IMO. He's simply incapable of grinding out draws, something which even half-decent sides can do when they're not playing well.
  23. It’s obvious what brings fans in. Winning games.
  24. not sure that going to get people going to games midweek
  25. Granted, as at most clubs, midweek games are generally less well attended than those held 3pm Saturday. The reasons why they are poorly attended now are obvious, but in no way should anyone be accepting that it should 'always' be the case. Imagine someone suggesting that in front of Jack, or indeed any club exec with even a modicum of aspiration.
  26. I’d be tempted to drop Ohashi a bit deeper and give Gueye a start, particularly if we are going to be smashing aimless balls upfield again. Forshaw has to start for me… what a sorry state of affairs.
