  1. Past hour
  2. Unfortunately for me. I have no confidence that Zippy and Bungle can actually make the right decision. Who in the right mind would want to come to us? We’re so disconnected, leadership team and Rudy who treats us like he’s playing football manager.
  3. Of all the absolute nonsense over the last 15 years appointing Graham Alexander is an odd one for you to 'finish with Rovers' over Shame, I will miss your posts if it does happen, especially the tremendous help with laying off bets
  4. Totally underwhelmed with Alexander. A managerial journeyman My God, how far has our club fallen. Bereft of hope, ambition and inspiration. Alexander's teams not renowned for decent football. If he's appointed that's me finished with Rovers. It will end in tears, yet again.
  5. Dunno about truth of it but TransferMarkt says he plays a 3-4-2-1 formation, so could signal a continuation of three at back, just after we didn't sign a left wing-back and brought in a couple of inside-forwards. Hopefully he'd be pragmatic rather than dogmatic, as I think we need to play 4-2-3-1 given squad we have now.
  6. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/apr/29/blackburn-rovers-unfair-dismissal-henning-berg#:~:text=Henning Berg%2C centre%2C won his,by the judge on Monday.
  7. Completely agree I assume banning youth moves completely would be against some sort of law anyway, and would probably go too far in favour of the clubs. The only thing I can possibly think of though is having a huge weighting (starting at 50%) in favour of the team who has been poached from in terms of a sell on fee
  8. Well we can just revert to ALEXANDERS BLUE N WHITE BLUE N WHITE!
  9. Considering the state of the attendance... Gerrard would have been the only one (however unrealistic) to entice fans back. All of these others, even if they are qualified to do the job, just won't inspire people.
  10. I thought he was under valued as a player here. He never gave less than 100% and he was skilful with it. He’d be one of the first names on the team sheet if he was playing today.
  11. Haha!! Didn’t know he sued the club! I totally agree, let’s keep them as legends Also please can we bring in a coach who is actually half decent, not a mason or wilshere wannabe type
  12. Not arsed about past experiences, happens all the time, but id 100% have Alexander over Ainsworth.
  13. It's no win for us though. He comes in, he's a success, we get it in the neck from Dingles for worshipping a Dingle Legend He comes in, he's shocking and relegates us, we get it in the neck from Dingles for hiring "Agent Alexander"
  14. Given the absolute state Venkys and their wretches have put us in, the fact that a potentially decent manager could be coming in that played for the 6 fingered lot should not be a concern
  15. Yes you’re right, but something needs to be done about that situation.
  16. Coyle had failed at every club he’d been at after he left the dingle dome. That’s why I didn’t want him. Nothing to do with him managing Burnley. When I was watching in the early days we had former Burnley players playing for us without a problem,.
  17. Indeed, Rovers are not innocent in this though Eze came here from Accrington just over a year ago, Tyjon himself was poached from Rochdale a year before that
  18. Chronic lack of pace suffered after injury.
  19. I couldn't give a shit if while playing for Burnley, Alexander said Blackburn was a disgusting shithole, Blackburn people were arseholes or if he shit in the middle of the pitch at Ewood, as long as he does his best if he was ever appointed that's OK for me
  20. At this point experience counts for everything. Always gonna be the underlying Dingle factor but that's irrelevant if it means survival.
  21. Tin hat on…IMO Graham Alexander would be a good appointment. Look at his stats in management, albeit lower leagues, but ….impressive. He’s untarnished, he’s played under some good management in his playing days and he’s a winner. It may be a small pond in which we fish..but this fish does not stink !
  22. One thing about these interviews with people who predominantly have worked behind the scenes of the main stage is that when they come to the fore, as we saw with David Lowe, is that they are so intrinsic with the club, because they don't have that media focus all the time, no weekly interviews etc, everything they say is from the soul, about the Club. Does somewhat warm the heart knowing there are still people left in some capacity still wanting the best for our club. I'd actually like him as the manager although I don't think that's what he wants. To know that someone on the touchline values his role and is there to compete weekly for the love of the badge. This was the best interview I've seen in a while come out the club since Lowes last win
  23. Alexander being an ex PNE/Dingle player doesn’t bother me. It did with Coyle because he was a shit appointment and a Dingle.
  24. 1. Hire underwhelming manager 2. Said manager talks about the project, how big a club Rovers are and there are no excuses 3. Fans reaction ranger from, 'meh' to 'he speaks well, back the lads' 4. Results are marginally better for a few games so stay of execution until next season 5. Crap window, further devaluing of the squad 6. Crap results 7. Manager leaves in February And on and on.... PURGATORY
  25. Why would he leave Bradford to come here? Doing a good job and a massive gamble considering they could be in a league above us next season Wagner has a decent record, would be my choice
