  1. Past hour
  2. To be fair, we took no long throws in yesterdays game. We are making progress. Oh wait, Miller wasn't playing. My bad.
  3. I think we have a few bigger problems than where Hayden Carter decides to spend his evening to be honest.
  4. They've already given him a new set piece specialist coach and we are even more awful on that than before. What they are doing is flogging a dead horse and wondering why it won't drag the cart.
  5. You're all just jealous because Hayden missed the dire Rovers game and you had to put up with watching it 🤣 Personally, I'd make him captain. He's clearly smart.
  6. IF the board keep Ismael then they should consider bringing in another coach that can point out what is going wrong or give him fresh ideas to work with. I'm not sure what the assistant manager, coaches or technical staff are saying behind the scenes (Maybe they are and he's ignoring them? Who knows!) but the fact is that nothing seems to be changing on the pitch to get the best out of what we have to work with. To us fans, we have called every bad decision before they've even acknowledged it. If we can see it, why can't they?
  7. Personally i don't care where Carter is unless he's actually on the pitch doing it for Rovers it's not like we were at home or anything. Most of them don't give a toss a few years back i was on an Xmas do to Manchester. At the very same time Rovers were at Deepdale and we were keeping tabs on it on the train as it unfolded. Sat in front of us was Adam Hanley and his mates off around Manchester and paying no attention whatsoever to the game seemingly.
  8. I’ve checked the EFL regulations. There’s no set time, the only requirement is the team doctor must confirm the player is okay to resume training/playing.
  9. Personally I think Carter is a dick for that; an absolute sick note paid by the club for very little and can’t even pretend to care enough to watch us in a big game. Screw them all
  10. For balance yes injuries haven't helped and the stopped matches should have got a point or 3 but by no means guaranteed, Although i won't carp on about bad decisions by officials because it's all hot air it happens to most in this league it's part and parcel of a non VAR low ability referring landscape. However i do think everyone fit his system would've worked a bit better and we'd be a place or two higher but that's it, nothing else. As it stands though you have t get some sort of tune out of what you have and he isn't by a long stretch and doesn't look capable now. Yes he gets the effort out of most of them but that's more down to the type of players they are, all running and no flair or brains...except Baradji. So in truth hes given it a good go but it hasn't worked and won't do it needs someone who can blend these lot into a more robust point winning style.
  11. With regards to topic subject... It's as simple as it always was... We have the worst owners in football, so... Don't turn up or you get what you pay for.
  12. I said it last night but I dont think he is under any pressure whatsoever from Pasha/Rudy. He is carrying out their plan to the letter, which is to try and develop academy lads and foreign gambles into profitable assets. The league position and performances I honestly think have no bearing on his job security currently. Maybe if we start losing 3-0 week in week out it will become untenable but feels like at the moment he has been given a free pass with the injuries by those above. He even said last week that this month was basically a write off based on squad availability. They can carry out their plan in front of an empty stadium as far as I am concerned as us fans dont matter in the slightest.
  13. Totally agree. Rank bad appointment in the first place
  14. Six weeks ago it was "we'll climb the table when Tronstad and Cantwell are back" - we haven't. It's now: "I'm not worried as when we get thirteen players back we'll be fine." When that still isn't working, it'll be back to the refs fault again. Apart from Pasha, Gestede and Ismael we all know how this ends.
  15. Fantastically written, Ian. I wish you didn't have to write it as it's a sobering read, but I agree with every word.
  16. One big upgrade he could make is to swap out captain marvel, McLoughlin, for Pickering at LCB - Harry has never let us down in that position. He was also extremely liked by two managers who shouldn't ever be mentioned in the same sentence as Valerien Ismael. Clearly it's pounds, kids and favourites before common sense, so I don't expect anything to change.
  17. "Injuries mean Blackburn 'cannot compete' - Ismael" If semi-pro Macclesfield can compete and beat Premier League Crystal Palace then we should be able to compete against other Championship players. To me that is someone who is out of ideas and is not up for the challenge. Time to go.
  18. Glen says these are legit. Will grab the popcorn for the Gestede one - I hope it shows him to be the inept clown we all know he truly is.
  19. This may have been mentioned in another thread, but for anyone on X/Twitter, there is a prank call with Gestede that is going to be released by @BRFCPrivy7414. One has already been released with Pasha who said Pearsy is for sale but "Gestede is the one to speak to about transfers". It could, of course, be AI generated (who can tell these days!) but it seems legit.
  20. Today
  21. VI, like several other managers, has probably been lied to about recruitment. He certainly won’t have expected to lose points because of a waterlogged pitch, which was due to lack of investment. You do wonder how long our owners can keep pulling the wool over managers eyes, they come in with the best of intentions, but are quickly hung out to dry. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  22. It is to downsize the club to a level where they no longer have to fund it. They want the club to be self-sufficient.
  23. Was just about to say the same. He'll get sacked but only when the window is shut.
  24. It's a really good point - stop suggesting the lack of crowd will materially impact the players. The boycott is principally to draw more attention to what's happening to the CLUB. Wouldn't be surprised if we actually play well and win with an even tinier crowd and less pressure..
  25. We would need the ins and outs of the contract to even hazard a guess. I'd avoid saying any figures as I know people from the club will read this board not worth running the risk!
  26. Mowbray had his death spirals but this is beyond that. They've left the club to rot and Gestede and Pasha are just the grave diggers. And neither own a spade.
