  1. Past hour
  2. I’m more than a little concerned with the signing of Miller as a right back when multiple Hibs fans say he is very good as a RCB in a back three, but a liability at RB or RWB. They seem to issue dire warnings if we intend to play him at RB!!
  3. Be interesting who's on the bench at West Brom, and particularly who plays against Bradford. It may just be that the club really rate Michalski. We'll soon find out if Pears goes, there's no way Ismael would do without replacing him unless he was certain.
  4. Just a little bit concerning that nearly all the Hibs fans comments on Miller say he was much better as a RCB in a back three than he was at RB. Guess we'll find out soon enough
  5. Just watched the videos of Millar announcement etc on X. He seems like a character. Built like a brick shit house too. Don’t think he’s going to take any shit. Val’s definitely going for physical power houses.
  6. This window has reminded me a bit of early Hughes - prioritising players who are physical, can get stuck in, bit of fire... The Savages, Mokoenas etc.
  7. Anders Andersson: bought for Β£1m back in 1997. I think he played a half-dozen games and scored once vs Preston in the cup. πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ Speaking of Scandinavian players. Per Pedersen πŸ‡©πŸ‡° for Β£2.5m was one of those signings that really were part of the catalyst to the fall from grace. Donis, Davidson, Dahlin, Valery and (Tore & Per) Pedersen were all pretty woeful arrivals in the 12 months following Alan Shearer's departure... only StΓ©phane Henchoz was a successful signing in 2 years. No wonder we quickly fell off a cliff.
  8. Guess it's tomorrow for the πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ
  9. I know we don't do preemptive (in fact, I'd argue we didn't send any money for Miller till Brittain money was 110% in the bank) but could Miller be the Carter replacement?
  10. Nicko said we are looking for striker.
  11. did I say that RF99? I haven't said we shouldn't get replacement for Pears have I?
  12. Darren Collyer, anyone?! Matt Dickens? ( said the elephant)
  13. RB, Hyam, Wharton, Hedges, De Neve.
  14. Must be announcing after midnight.. As in the words of ABBA..
  15. How are you not convinced on Kargbo? He's literally the perfect example of an impact sub to change the dynamic of a game.
  16. We seriously need reinforcements in attack. No mention of a striker whatsoever. If we sign Baradji (a big if I feel) and a right winger I'm hoping we can get a striker in either on loan or a wildcard permanent addition such as Pululu (pie in the sky I know)
  17. And if Toth doesn't have a period of time out, money has been wasted. We don't seem to be in a position to waste money.
  18. Which would the 5 be? Not disagreeing, guessing the wingers and RB are 3. Wharton and Toth?
  19. If Toth spends any period of time out, then you are really dropping a novice in it. You dont need an expensive player but you need senior cover.
  20. It's me, this is the official announcement. First order of business is my resignation after I looked at the budget.
  21. Miller must have been a cheap signing...with just one year in his contract.. could be a bargain
  22. I think it would be a cost issue, the bench sitting keeper probably only plays in parts of a couple of league games per season. Why have an expensive player filling that role, when you can use a cheap youngster
  23. No way would I be signing Walker to play right back in a back four today. On the right side of three centre backs in a back five, possibly. When your pace goes it can go awfully quickly.
