The best we can hope for is that actually, Valerian Ismael is actually a minor miracle worker who is able to get the best from whatever ragbag of journeymen players he is presented with (in mid August), and that we beat some teams in the league simply by having a better looking kit that at least conjures some deep memory of substance and success. No I am basing my opinion on he delivered on winning a trophy and I would take one season of very poor league position. As I said before I would keep him and back him 4 or 5 quality signings instead. If Levy is appointing Thomas Frank as his replacement then its a smart move but he will still need those 4 or 5 quality signings but what the objective for Spurs now cos it ain't winning trophies if you sacking managers after winning them, is it top 4? top 6?
