  1. Past hour
  2. We have billionaire owners and massive FFP leeway. Why aren't we pay millions of pounds and guarantee quality? Venky's out. Not a dig at you M_B because we have nearly all been battered into submission by 15 years of occupation.
  3. Should we have sacked Souness in 2002 then? After all we had relegation worries for a lot of the season, and that was with top players like Cole and Tugay coming in.
  4. A really class act.
  5. I turned it off at half time. I was nodding off in my chair.
  6. I can't think of one example of a manager having had a terrible season recently who Chaddy thinks should be backed with 4 or 5 quality signings.
  7. Even Nixon hasn't got anything to make up about us today.
  8. Today
  9. Football is about winnings trophy and Ange promised he would win a trophy in his second season and, he and the players delivered on that promise. No I am basing my opinion on he delivered on winning a trophy and I would take one season of very poor league position. As I said before I would keep him and back him 4 or 5 quality signings instead. If Levy is appointing Thomas Frank as his replacement then its a smart move but he will still need those 4 or 5 quality signings but what the objective for Spurs now cos it ain't winning trophies if you sacking managers after winning them, is it top 4? top 6? European football? The players clearly like Ange and his man management skills.
  10. The article was original from the Stoke on Trent live hence why I posted their article not Jackson article, clearly you didn't understand or as per usual you choose to ignore it cos it suit your argument as you do with other things Firstly, I don't gaslight anyone so please stop with utter bullshit claims, you can't even answer the most basic of question so I suggested you stop going on and on time after time like you are the messiah on here. as the article I posted shows you that half of transfers happened in August last season for a range of different reasons but you won't accept that. You aren't going to sign all your players you want before pre season starts. Yes I have said it would be great to get a couple of players in before pre season like we did it before with 3 signings before so why not now I have said I expect couple of players in before the Spanish training camp which I have now said a couple of times so I can't be anymore clearly with you and others on here.
  11. England under 21 Euro games will be shown on 4seven channel starting on Wednesday at 7.50pm. They will show other teams games also
  12. That was awful performance full of lack of effort, tempo and desire. Not good enough

  14. This style 👍 Have you the ability to put together a pre order system?
  15. "A 150th unofficial, designed by fans for the fans, what it should of been , shirt"
  16. Most England managers don’t get anywhere near the line. In 50 years time when we haven’t got anywhere near another final, Southgate may get the respect he deserves.
  17. We are always thinking about merch opportunities - the challenge on so many of them is that they need a minimum production run to make them viable & we can’t afford to speculate & be left with loads of unsold stock. What I will say is that I have always fancied a 1950’s style Rovers shirt myself & if I want one then I’m motivated to keep investigating…
  18. Attended the Canadian Shield games yesterday, as the guest of the New Zealand Association. It was there that I met Ryan Nelsen. We had a pleasant chat and he stated that he loved his time with Rovers. A really nice bloke.
  19. That increased wage that no fee brings just gets swallowed up by the player wanting a bigger wage because they know you're not paying a fee.
  20. Doesnt here unfortunately although even if we did want to be strong in the market of freebies, we would need to act quickly which we dont.
  21. Yesterday
  22. I'll never forgive him for losing the Euros Final at Wembley.
  23. Considering Beckham is currently in line for one you're right.
  24. A mix of styles. Good ball control and tactical manoeuvres along with some no nonsense aggression and sending over the stands when required. The problem that English players have and have had for decades is the complete lack of ability to see the game in a tactical manner. That's why there's no good English managers. You'd think that with it being our national sport and the place where the game originated the FA would do something to address this but I suppose they haven't got any time for that kind of thing when they're busy lining their pockets with blood money.
  25. Southgate was a good ambassador for the England team and, I feel, a focal point for some sort of unity. However, (without triggering the debate now as tiresome as any) it cannot be forgotten that Southgate presided over a time when the Premier League football style shifted towards the continental, especially, I think, due to Pep Guardiola's influence - and, no doubt, due to many an unrecognised work of grassroots coaches. This made competing internationally more possible than the days of Stevie Kick-A-Ball-40-Yards and 4-4-fucking-2. Though, arguably, for England to take the final step, they need to reconnect with their traditional strengths, alongside the new found ability to keep possession.
  26. Time to ask again. Does anybody seriously think that they are going to be trying to sign players to strengthen the squad? Seriously?
