  1. Past hour
  2. I’m not saying that, for my money Furlong was the last defender and could have gone for the penalty incident. He could very easily have received 2 red cards in that game and yet left the pitch, without even a yellow to his name.
  3. I've had a one or two beverages and have come to conclusion that Ismael is on the right tracks. Whilst results are going against us we've been very unlucky, we're dominating games and have a clear style and pattern to our play. Whilst some of out signing haven't yet clicked, they've shown enough to make me believe that we'll not only be safe, but next season mount a serious challenge.
  4. Having your cake and eating it a bit there there. If he gives the penalty then the play changes and the elbow doesn’t happen. You can’t say event 1 happens, event 2 still happens but event 3 doesn’t.
  5. I do blame the ref it was a penalty but that was 5 seconds of a 96 minute game! If you can’t get a shot on target for 95.55 minutes then you deserve to lose and there’s no one to blame other than Val and the 14 players that put the Rovers shirt on today. I’d get sacked from my job if I performed as poorly as these players have recently yet they walk home with 1000’s a week 😡
  6. Definitely not a red as it was a genuine attempt for the ball. Double jeopardy and all that nowadays.
  7. True as well but it is sliding doors, had we converted the penalty and they were down to ten, quite possible that specific incident doesn’t happen.
  8. We wouldnt have got a result with alternative decisions. If you finish a game with 0 shots on target then its just deflection to suggest that a potential penalty at 2 nil down was a major decision. Strange how Ismael didnt mention the more blatant stonewall penalty and probable red card with Cashin.
  9. Right agency, aligned, Suhail's puppet and fall guy.
  10. I feared that was the case and that just about says it all, Venkys Out.
  11. And a penalty for them, or are you ignoring that?
  12. You are naming clubs who briefly had owners unwilling to cover costs who were then replaced by ones that did. And even then, thats a minority of teams. Venkys havent shown their "financial clout." Covering the losses they have isnt as a result of them constantly pumping loads in, its the bare minimum.
  13. I think you can blame ref for not giving a clear push on Ohashi, or a clear elbow in Cantwells face. That isnt to take blame off Ismail.
  14. Give over. Without Toth it could have been 5. Ifvwe had even got the penalty we may have missed it (see Hull) and then wouldn’t have had another shot on target. We were never getting anything from that after 15 mins.
  15. It’s great having Billionaire Owners - but when they’re hampered by court cases of their own negligent makings & refuse to use their money when we have leeway on FFP to take progressive strides forward what is the point? Our squad is tinpot our pitch is tinpot our ground is grubby our manager is tinpot our board are tinpot where have these billionaires added value above the absolute minimum required?
  16. Would we have got a result?? Despite the extremely poor ref we didn’t muster a shot on target. Can’t blame the ref for that. Fact is Ismail needs to go, no clue, tactics are utter w**k and he can’t keep blaming the refs
  17. Fair enough, but if you think they are "dreadful operators", what's your objection to a call for a boycott for ONE GAME?
  18. A match thrown away - we were poor, but without yet more inept refereeing we may have got a result. It shows how poor the Championship is, that Ipswich could get automatic promotion - as they were no great shakes.
  19. I think Tony has had enough. Just posting on here, as I think he still goes to the games, probably somewhat reluctantly.
  20. Many clubs in this league have owners with less financial clout but do ok. Billionaire owners are the necessity in this division they are cracked up to be, it only makes a difference if money is used correctly by the right people. Less can be more.
  21. 90 minutes of misery.
  22. People with way too much influence and their own priorities.
  23. An unused sub but they got the third place at least. Imagine he’s loved the experience but we’ve definitely missed him a lot for him to play in just one game.
  24. It's going to be one spectacular own goal when our relegation is confirmed. Most fans called it from day 1 that selling our Championship experience and replacing them with dross from relegated second division Belgium clubs was always going to end in tears. The cherry on the cake when they shuffled Hyam out the back door in the last minute. That was confirmation for most that we'd be down at the bottom all season. Throw in a proven failure as a manager and the writing was on the wall. They've sleep walked straight into this with excuses after excuses, letting games pass by with all the talk about unavailable players, or how "the data shows" we're better than the results suggest. Dismissing the fans concerns and straight up insulting us by suggesting the squad is better now. They'll be many a Rovers fan saying "We told you so", when the curtain on our stay in the Championship is drawn to a close.
