  1. Past hour
  2. Whenever has there ever been a β€œplan”, has there fuck!
  3. Forshaw, Tavares in/ Travis, Tronstad out?
  4. I guess it comes down to whether there are three teams worse than Rovers next season. Don`t think Birmingham or Wrexham are two of them. Its not just the lack of a proper budget, its the failure to tie decent Championship players down to any reasonable contracts post Broughton. This neurotic obsession with cutting the wage bill! Whatever VI certainly has his work cut out.
  5. yeah, when in 1978 the crowd was over 27000 , not many were supporting us, things change, a few years later we won the league , ups and downs, the biggest home support i remember-after we won the league cup in 2002, against Fulham, 10 pound a ticket , we also got 26700 against Oxford, in 2018 guess what, 10 pound a ticket
  6. With all due respect... I'm not sure how you can say that unless you've watched him play numerous times.
  7. That blue chair was probably in Waggotts office, he doesn't need it anymore.
  8. Travis is history from a Rovers perspective, imo, and we will next see his value on the pitch when we experience it in opposition colours in the coming season. Hopefully he will have some consideration for the long-suffering fans who have had to endure such a long and painful downgrading of expectations on and off the pitch. Not sure why you'd be gobsmacked, when the writing has been on the wall since the end of last season. Look, if we are having a clear out, so that IV has a clean slate for next season, then so be it. But just get the fook on with it, and start a proper rebuild with bona-fide recruitment to a plan, rather than piecemeal hand to mouth getting by on a hope and ham sandwich. Now, personally I'd be gobsmacked if there was a plan πŸ˜‰ VENKYS OUT!!
  9. Have they flogged the fancy red and gold chair from the new home kit photoshoot material already
  10. Feels like the time we signed all those Portuguese lads.
  11. Today
  12. Definitely on board with the Tavares signing. Good pedigree and good age. Think he'll be a good signing. I'm almost certain he'll be the replacement for Travis though.
  13. Ah the new left footed CB we wanted to sign...wait..
  14. β€˜Defender’ πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  15. Oldham have got to play Stanley in a preliminary game to qualify for the 1st round, due to half the Prem being in Europe and not playing until the 3rd round.
  16. The signing is close…it’s just…
  17. That would be class
  18. Oldham away .. one for the nostalgia
  19. We are spending money. No doubt the two day medical will be back in action
  20. where is tavares,it`s gone ominously quiet🀐
  21. When I started going Bolton always kicked our arses, 1970 onwards. The only time I remember bettering them was when Fraz scored at Burnden, but we got battered on Manchester road.
  22. If Travares is travis's replacement, we could have shirts for the dyslexic.
  23. I wouldn't want to bring JRC or Buckley on tbh. I agree with the 'poor athletes' comments.. JRC runs like he's trudging through treacle and Buckley shuffles around the pitch like an old man. What I was getting at it is I'd prefer either of those over Foreshaw. I thought he was really poor other than the odd game last season and certainly did nothing (in my eyes) to warrant an extra year- especially in light of his years.. I'd be all for getting rid of JRC, Buckley, Foreshaw, Hedges, Pears, Hyam. Have a good clear out and reinvest, however my concern is we're the latter part. Also, if we're not careful the squads going to lack any chemistry.
