  1. Past hour
  2. No need to worry about Duru leaving. We have Montgomery to slot in at RB…
  3. Not quite Durus first pro deal was 2023 He signed another deal a year later
  4. Are they painting us as racists again? They're pulling out the old playbook.
  5. There are ways round it. Indeed in the JW Upper supporters are often sat watching the game with a pint. No one bothers.
  6. He's surely on first deal terms still. Do we have any duty of care for the lad once San Diego finish for the season. Surely he can't afford to be living there on Β£500 a week.
  7. Off topic (but this group gets the most traffic), not looking to discuss the chants from Saturday (which I didnt hear from the JW, W12). But I see the club are now "Restricting Responses" on social media posts.... Not necessarily a bad idea on this occasion, but it is the first time I've seen them do it. Would it shock anyone if they used the tactic much more often, and I wonder if that'll become more and more the norm as they continue to strangle opportunities for the truth.
  8. It is produced by a 3rd party who produce anniversary books for a number of clubs such as Villa and Spurs. They have done some decent publications but as you will have heard at the WATR AGM Suhail wanted the owners to do the introduction and Steve Waggott sensibly advised against given the threat to book sales. I don’t know what the ultimate outcome is but I would guess, and it is a guess, given that SW has gone it is Suhail who would have determined the outcome.
  9. You need to give him a bit longer to catch up on this thread. 😁
  10. I note that our intrepid reporter Elliott Jackson has not yet noticed that there is a discrepancy on how long for, and that the MLS team seem to be claiming there is an option to buy He may not have noticed Duru has left on loan at all, it seems that his collegue Dan Barnes thought it only warranted a sentence at the end of his report on Mafoumbi's release
  11. I never get fed up of The the Rangers or Celtic loosing. Hate both the Ugly sisters.
  12. Football works in mysterious ways and whilst Hull were expected to struggle a bit due to the embargo, it looks like it may have provoked a bit of a backs against the wall, let's fight with what we've got mentality. It's early days mind and a few injuries may end up hurting them as the season progresses. For now though, I think it'll be another struggle for us. That being said, had we held on in Saturdays game we'd be a lot more positive going into the game, fine margins and all that. I'm going for a 1-1 draw.
  13. and the pretence that we only need one more signing if Travis stays. Astounding.
  14. The MLS season ends in October. Maybe that is why it’s stated until then. but why would San Diego say otherwise? Also, I think Leo will be a cracking RB. God we are a mess.
  15. I take it our recruitment team have had another busy day ? 12 days to go !
  16. Our transfer window will be open then so doesn’t sound wrong to me. The only other option would have been January β€˜26 but presumably they want him for the start of their next season (February) too.
  17. So we've potentially loaned a player to a team and we don't know when he's due to return?
  18. The sad thing is that I should be looking forward to signing up for this book, but until I have an idea of content or contributors then I am afraid I won't be doing so. Will there be well written chapters writing about key periods of our history, player bios, great matches, statistics as there were for the Harry Berry & Mike Jackman books. If the book extends the work of those two authors then it will be worth buying. More info please.
  19. But likewise June sounds wrong also, surely it would be until the January window?
  20. An international loan must end during a transfer window of the parent club so October can’t possibly be right.
  21. His BS won’t cut much ice up there https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crlz4y36jwko
  22. If it wasn't for Mackay, the premiership win wouldn't of happened.
  23. Today
  24. I was at kendal calling...also saw high fade and was one of the best of the weekend...that bass player🀣 Great festival although the chair, blanket situation at the back of the main stage was a major issue for me,,,i didn't actually want to watch any headliner though thankfully so didn't effect me too much Was loads of rovers fans there!
  25. Duru loaned to San Diego in the MLS Rovers state its a loan until mid October San Diego state "on loan through June 2026 with a permanent purchase option" Wonder if someone messed up paperwork?
  26. Chuopo-Moting was awful and somehow played for PSG and Bayern. He had a genuine contender for worse miss of all time for PSG.
