Presty On Tour Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 we just need to be clinical with our chances. it would be so gutting to go out at this stage after last seasons european exploits. lets hope for an awesome night at ewood
LWX Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 i think its important tugay plays this one from the start as we need to open them up........3-0
Daremz Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 They'll lean back and have faith in the pacey strikers. As they can, because one single goal will get them through. Can't see this happen, we've conceded too easy away, and probably will have another hauler at home. Rovers 1 Larissa 1 Sorry.
LARISSAFC Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 There are five charter flights coming from Greece in addition to all the people travelling independently and the Greek ex-pat community in the UK. The Greeks are talking about 2,000 being at Ewood- probably an exageration but they will have more than BIG CLUB or Pompey could muster. Could be quite a night if Rovers get a really good response from our own supporters to the cheap prices. Where did you hear about 2,000 fans? The people in our ticket house predict a 600-700 people travelling from Greece. I would expect about 1,500 people making the travel after all these years out of UEFA competitions for us, but unfortunately it seems that we'll not be more than 1,000 One bus full of crazy-Monsters left Larissa last night for the long journey across Europe. They will reach Blackburn Thursday morning
frosty Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I think it will be comfortable. Although Larissa were a decent team, they will not attack and can easily be beaten as long as we play well. 3-0 Rovers.

berkshireblue Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Cant make this game as I'll be half way to marseilles for the rugby 1/4 final but I expect rovers to win either 2 - o and then in extra time or 4 - 0 Roll on the group stages

Maybe they're not planning to go back

brfc fan Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 It's hard to, but I don't think we'll be humiliated like we were in Greece. 2-0 (Santa and Emo because he's due a goal ) then 1-0 in extra-time (Bentley to save the day again ).
roversmum Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 whats that coming over the lancashire hills, is it the monsters, the monsters !! Quick, someone, send them directions through Burnley......
Hughesy Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I think for the 1st 10-15 minutes we need to really go for it and try to put their keeper under pressure. God help if it gets to half time and its still 0-0
den Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 The biggest problem for us, is the fact that even if we score, they still wont need to attack us.
gazsimm Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 anyone know how many tickets we have sold so far, and if there is alcohol going to be served in the ground on the night?
