Seriously though Newcastle screwed up my accumulator today.My own fault though i should have known better than to back them daft buggers. :(

Me too. I had a 2nd accumulator and Newcastle was the only one that blew it - Gutted, thought they would really be up for it. £1200 would of been won off a £1 bet but for them!

8 hrs double time to get home just as the second half is kicking off and the clarrotts 2-0 down.

Must admit, a few years ago I put a bet on Scotland to beat England (not easy for an Anglo in Glasgow) as an insurance against my pain. Think it was 2nd leg of Euro qualifiers. Anyway, it couldn't have worked out better as Scotland won the game, but England qualified (goal difference) and I collected £80. Result !

However, putting money on the Ferret Fiddlers to win, is going too far. It would be akin to betting that you'll be struck by lightning.

Either a complete waste of money, or too disasterous to pick up your winnings !!
