my_name_is_Earl Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I think they should give Big Sam the job when Ince goes because even if we do get relegated, I believe he would be the right man to get us up. I honestly can't see a better candidate for our long term future at the minute. We should offer him a two and a half year contract and see where we are. To be honest, i'd just be happy to see Ince go but I do think the board and some fans should put their opinions about his character to the side because he is without doubt the best man for this job at this moment in time.

Mc Love Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Can we start advertising for a new chairman if Ince is still here?
Clitherover Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Rovers beat Stoke and Ince stayed in a dream i had last night......
gazsimm Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Sounds like he has. With loads coming from Stoke Ewood could be a real bear pit on saturday. i will be staying away if Ince is still in charge for the stoke game, enough is enough, if we don't sack him now the board must be set on the championship
Mc Love Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Rovers beat Stoke and Ince stayed in a dream i had last night...... That wasnt a dream, it was a nightmare! Oh and a mate just text me saying he is gone, but he was only messing!
rover6 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Just sack Ince and his team. We're better off with just the youth coach in charge against Stoke. 0-0 will do me. Our youth coach, Gary Bowyer, has just overseen something like a 6-game consecutive losing streak which included an 8-0 disagreement with Man City.
Earlydoors Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This article from Gallacher is best summing up I've read http://www.setanta.com//uk/Articles/Footba...FFS/gnid-31403/
Hughesy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Ince must be rubbing off on all our teams then eh!! Time to go Mr Ince, pack your bags and go!!!
G Somerset Rover Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Rovers beat Stoke and Ince stayed in a dream i had last night...... Lets hope it was the milk and cheese and not a sign of things to come (the Ince staying part that is)...

Another example of when you have to question " What exactly do they do in training at Brockhall?". We used to have a youth side that would win the occasional FA Youth cup tie!
gillibrand Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 There are 15 votes to back Ince, would they care to say why, or are they just wind up merchants!
G Somerset Rover Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 There are 15 votes to back Ince, would they care to say why, or are they just wind up merchants! Ince's staff haven't gone to Dublin remember...
philipl Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This article from Gallacher is best summing up I've read http://www.setanta.com//uk/Articles/Footba...FFS/gnid-31403/ I totally disagree with the notion we are playing total football. Total football was glorious to watch but although it seemed spomtanious was actually based on a very disciplined system of players being aware of their colleagues and moving to augment attacks and defending from the front with players being sufficiently aware to move to fill the nearest hole when colleagues had ventured forwards. Rovers are playing none football by contrast. There is no system to neither the attack nor the defense and midfield is a floppy appenbdage that is nowhere near either of the other two when it is needed. Whatever happened to MGP's much vaunted tracking back?- even that has disappeared in this miasma of Ince's none football philosophy.
Presty On Tour Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I'm predicting a 4pm press conference this afternoon!
roverfanuk Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Ince's staff haven't gone to Dublin remember... Thanks, apple-juice now allover my keyboard!

Guest Kamy100 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I'm predicting a 4pm press conference this afternoon! It'll be a statement on the official website!
Mc Love Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I have a bad feeling about today! What are the odds of Ince staying....? :(
John Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 It'll be a statement on the official website! Every time I receive a text I think it is the annoucement from 88442. It is a Monday, but may even treat myself to a few drinks this evening if he is fired. Will be a massive relief, even though we are still firmly in the sh*t.
vyeo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 i don't believe he's still here... *fingers crossed*
James No. 7 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Whatever happened to MGP's much vaunted tracking back?- even that has disappeared in this miasma of Ince's none football philosophy. Attacking full backs have seemed to have fallen by the wayside too, from what I have seen. They were a big part of the game plan under Hughes. Now they rarely venture forward.
ace Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Well its quikly coming to lunch. I reckon the meeting must be over by now. Fingers crossed Well the 11.38 departure to Jersey has left Manchester airport now..so we could be here until 7.20 tomorrow morning!

Might need to if he is still here
