brian_gallagher85 Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 don't you just love it. I'd love it more if it didn't take Wigan closer to us. Turned into a nice little afternoon for us with Stoke, Bolton and Hull all losing along with the Big Club. The bottom three now must surely be Pompey, Hull plus one from us down
Bobby G Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I think one more win and we stay up for sure, as Hull and Burnley would be too far back.

Amo Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Fork. I had Pompey, Burnley and Hull to go down this season but apparently you're not allowed to bet on all three?
cn174 Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Fork. I had Pompey, Burnley and Hull to go down this season but apparently you're not allowed to bet on all three? You probably can do it as an ante-post special somewhere, but right at the start of the season. I would've thought that even a combined price for those 3 would be quite rubbish anyway!
thenodrog Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Somebody on the radio this morning was of the opinion that 36 points would prob suffice to stay up this season.
American Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Wasn't Nelsen picked up from the MLS? We didn't scout him though, he was shopped around as a free and was rejected by Charlton first.
Mattyblue Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Mostly because I was there Given that the rest of my family all support them I used to not mind them, however Benetiz and his loyal followers have made me really dislike them over the last few seasons. Some of my mates family live in Castlebar, County Mayo, we've been over to stay with them on the pop like you do! The amount of Utd/LFC shirts is unreal! One guy tried to tell me that along with Celtic it's a 'cultural' thing to support either Utd or Liverpool! Hmmmm, funny how by chance the culture is based around the two most successful English teams!
brian_gallagher85 Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Cultural his arse, Most 40 somethings support United/Leeds/Liverpool because they where successful in the 70's. David Speedie was my reason for supporting Rovers
philipl Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 Well=balanced piece in the Sunday Times about what the Regulator's moves on BSkyB could mean for the Prem
ffan Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Well=balanced piece in the Sunday Times about what the Regulator's moves on BSkyB could mean for the Prem That's disgraceful. Bt vision are just looking for a free ride.
thenodrog Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Most people would agree that it was always likely to end in tears.
thenodrog Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 That's disgraceful. Bt vision are just looking for a free ride. I hate BT's telephone services. Whenever I wanted to contact them they wouldn't answer the damned phone, since i potted em they are never off it.

Backroom Tom Posted March 21, 2010 Backroom Posted March 21, 2010 I hate BT's telephone services. Whenever I wanted to contact them they wouldn't answer the damned phone, since i potted em they are never off it. come on theno BT aren't all bad, they provide me with a living and give me free broadband united Liverpool 1-1 united equalised from a penalty that shouldn't have been in my opinion the foul wa outside the box he just went down inside it
Grabbi Graeme Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 1-1 at Old Trafford Utd equalising from penalty spot although Rooney only scoring on the rebound, Shrek also going mad before he took it as Torres scuffed the pen spot up with his studs.
Balwer Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Out of interest who do you Lancs support in a game like this? Or should I say, who do you despise less?
thenodrog Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Out of interest who do you Lancs support in a game like this? Or should I say, who do you despise less? I'm kinda siding with the mancs today. I'm enjoying seeing Lpool in a tailspin. Although if MU do win Chelsea then will be an even tougher prospect.
tcj_jones Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm backing United today. Really want the top four monopoly to be broken.
modes98 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Yeah all with the Mancs today. Put Liverpool in their place, outside the top 4.
Exiled_Rover Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 The only way I'd back Liverpool is if they're after a petition for a winding up order. Having said that, Benitez is doing such a sterling job that I'm fearful he's going to get sacked.
brian_gallagher85 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I see Torres has been taking first touch lessons from JR! God those Yellow & Green scarves look pathetic!
Exiled_Rover Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I see Torres has been taking first touch lessons from JR! God those Yellow & Green scarves look pathetic! Funniest part of those green and yellow scarves is that those fans always chant "Love United, hate Glazer" towards the end of a match - one they've almost invariably won. Cocks.
