Hughesy Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 BY THE WAY IT IS LIKELY TO BE ONE ALMIGHTY 11 O'CLOCKER TONIGHT. Message board in overload?! No pressing F5 boys and girls! Lets guess a few..... Beattie to West Ham Pavlechenko & Babbel to Brum Kaboul & keeper to Spurs O'Hara & several others on loan to Pompey from Spurs Bentley & Hutton to West Ham Johnson staying at Boro until summer
Majiball Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 It's with the government officials now. They will dictate the time scale of the permit. There could be a separate arrangement stopping him from playing, but Rovers want this concluded so they can spend the money elsewhere...or give it to the bank. BY THE WAY IT IS LIKELY TO BE ONE ALMIGHTY 11 O'CLOCKER TONIGHT. Is an almighty positive 11 o'clocker or a negative one? Hughesy isn't Beattie already at Stoke?
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Message board in overload?! No pressing F5 boys and girls! Lets guess a few..... Beattie to Stoke How could they afford that?
Bazrakats Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 If it involves Portsmouth trying to get anyone then its a joke they cant even keep their website running.
Hughesy Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Is an almighty positive 11 o'clocker or a negative one? Hughesy isn't Beattie already at Stoke? Yeah why I meant to say West Ham.... Stiker we are interested in??? 4 way fight for Striker - McDonald
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 If it involves Portsmouth trying to get anyone then its a joke they cant even keep their website running. GROOBY TO POMPEY??????????
Ricky Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 That article doesnt even mention us being interested in a Striker Hughesy. It refers to a Barca winger.
bluebruce Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Yeah why I meant to say West Ham.... Stiker we are interested in??? 4 way fight for Striker - McDonald Tired today Hughesy? It says Boro are after McDonald for 3.5 mill, and we are in a four-way fight for Suarez.
rovers1995 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I don't think the 11 o'clocker is about Rovers but hopefully it is very very good news for us
Earlydoors Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 BY THE WAY IT IS LIKELY TO BE ONE ALMIGHTY 11 O'CLOCKER TONIGHT. Fowler ..?
super_arran Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Message board in overload?! No pressing F5 boys and girls! Lets guess a few..... Every bugger whose ever played as a striker to West ham?
JAL Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 There was a plzyer who was on the verge of signing last night young kid about 19 20 sothats one more playing we have got all we need now is beatie On your bike dragging Rovers down with such stupid, ill thought, ridiculous suggestions.
AJW Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I think a "Beattie Type" player will really bring the best out of Kalanic as he takes the battering, wins the headers and so on whilst Nicko is left in space to score the goals we all know he can. couldn't agree more , but we have Di Santo and for some reason BFS just wont play them together?
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2010 Backroom Posted January 28, 2010 Good work by the guy who said Linganzi would sign today
ManicRover Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Good work by the guy who said Linganzi would sign today on a free too...worth a punt I guess
ewoodpo Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Fowler ..? Alan Shearer along with the legend Simon Garner.
blue/white Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Not Rovers related.... but Big Club made a 11 M euro bid for Estudiantes' CF Mauro Boselli? Just announced on Argentine Telly. That's a staggering bit of $$ for that lump.

dixonbrfc Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Good work by the guy who said Linganzi would sign today merci... when he was sat there, i said to my dad..."is that linganzi?" i had a pen and paper ready for him to sign it, but i didnt want to look like a complete tool if it wasent him.
Iceman Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I know work permit issues, and other obstacles might prevent it. But i wouldnt mind us watching, players who are playing in Argentina and Brazil. For those who watched the Madrid vs Malaga game, there was a lad in midfield called Guti and he was superb. Past it? I dont think so, had a better game than Kaka. So much for people, who thinks he is not the player he was.

BY THE WAY IT IS LIKELY TO BE ONE ALMIGHTY 11 O'CLOCKER TONIGHT. Hmm .... "so they can spend the money .... or give it to the bank" would infer if it is a player coming, it is either on loan or free transfer. Possibly a player leaving ? been amazed that there hasn't been any Samba links (though don't want to tempt fate - as I can see somebody with money like Big Club or Sunderland coming in for him)

I would love it if we got someone like him are biggest problem would be his wages go on Salgardo have a word.
Iceman Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Dont think we would go for Guti, as we just signed Basturk. A striker, it seems is the main agenda at the moment. I would like us to go for Janko. I still think he is a good striker, who would form a good partnership with Kalinic.
