BuckyRover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Ah well only the cup, if Roque's injury is bad that is far worse than getting knocked out I was going to say that's a bit premature.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Niko loves the Villa! Get in. Fingers crossed Roque's isn't too bad.
Presty On Tour Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Niko has scored more goals at Villa Park than Ewood!
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Kalinic continues his decent goalscoring record against Villa.
Backroom Tom Posted January 29, 2011 Backroom Posted January 29, 2011 I was going to say that's a bit premature. The point stands though, a cup run would be great but I wouldn't lose sleep about going out, Roque getting injured would be a bigger blow IMO Plus this season haven't we lost everytime we have gone behind?
bennyboyt11 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't Roque's main injuries to do with his knees and that a hamstring is common injury for a footballer?
BuckyRover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 A hamstring strain is common when trying to get to match fitness
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't Roque's main injuries to do with his knees and that a hamstring is common injury for a footballer? Strains to hamstrings or calfs happen quite often to players who have been coming back from a long term injury or haven't been playing much football recently. If it's just a strain I suspect he will be out for at least two weeks, longer if its a tear.
John Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 A hamstring strain is common when trying to get to match fitness Certainly is for Santa Cruz.
J*B Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Whats going on?! I cant deal with this five live occasional updates!
Bobby G Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Just seen our goal. Very lucky. Andrews with a defence splitting ball which let in Salgado on the right hand corner of the penalty area, and he pulled it across the 6 yard box, in which Kalinic attacked it from the left and did his best to put it straight into Friedels hands in the opposite corner. Luckily for us the ref ruled the ball had barely crossed the line along with Friedel.
BuckyRover Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Andrews and Salgado combined for the goal!
Oakland Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I really really hope RSC injury isn't bad ..but Kalinic scored so that's something, now guys get another one! from livescore: "Santa Cruz has tweaked his hamstring"
