Backroom DE. Posted April 25, 2011 Backroom Posted April 25, 2011 Thrown it all away with absolutely shocking defending. Jesus Christ.
bubblerrovers Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 So obvious, goodnight all. It's the end as we know it
Majiball Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Olsson and Rochina, seriously you could have made that distance up easily.
tony gale's mic Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 FFS. Rubbish defending. And as much as I like Rocinha, that's twice he's cost us dearly.
m0r94n Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Surely Balotelli is influencing play from an offside position there?
SamTheShrew Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 that is why you DO NOT bring on a striker in midfield. tactical genius once again
Siriwan Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 The goal should have been disallowed, Balotelli was offside and interfering, just in front of Robinson.
American Rover12 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Olsson shouldn't be on the park still and its just perfect that out best player on the night makes one bad mistake and it hands citeh a goal. (Please don't use that word again)
Exiled_Rover Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 What a disgusting sport this is. Take off a £12m winger, bring on a £25m striker. Have one chance in the half and take it.
BRFC1995 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 next match really starting to feel like a lose and we are down match
tony gale's mic Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 that is why you DO NOT bring on a striker in midfield. tactical genius once again It's hard to argue with this. I don't argue with bringing Rocinha on, but in his correct position FFS.
Heinz Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 All the good play, all the crosses in the box, all the good runs from midfield and defence and I haven't seen Hart make one single save/dive or being tested
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Please stop the god damn @#/? long throws. They're never going to work against a keeper who collects them 100% of the time.
Alex Rover Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 The goal should have been disallowed, Balotelli was offside and interfering, just in front of Robinson. Shocking decisions are really hammering us this season.
tony gale's mic Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 10 mins left for us to score 2 2?! I'll take 1.
SamTheShrew Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Benjani was far better than Roberts, yet he is still on. Kalinic so far has offered nothing. Subbing Dunn has wrecked the balance (what there was) in central mid, and that has cost us. That lies with the substitutions, and therefore the manager. literally no idea. But its ok Steve, we've played well (which we have), but we will still have lost another game, with no points again.
Rovermatt Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Absolute cr*p as usual. Dzeko was certain to score as soon as he set foot on the pitch. City have been no great shakes but our lack of cutting edge and complete inability to retain possession for any length of time has been our undoing again. Giving the ball away to City so deep in our half is criminal but hardly surprising given how utterly dreadful our team is.
DP Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Huge gamble by Kean to bring on Rochina for Dunn, and yet again the youngster has needlessly given the ball away and the decision has backfired massively. Baloteli definitely interfering as well, but you hardly get those these days.
tony gale's mic Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Shocking decisions are really hammering us this season. Let's be honest, if that was disallowed it would've been harsh. Ballotelli wasn't interfering with play when the goal was scored.
