Kamy wouldn't be this excited if there wasn't some serious progress with this player? It's the most excited I've seen him on here so I'm excited.

I stopped getting excited after the 5th of 93 strikers we have been linked to fizzled away to nothing or didn't ever get mentioned again

Would be more inclined to think it'd be Berbatov rather than Wellbeck. Think he'll be part of their plans this season. They seem to be building a new core squad.

Last I saw him this excited was when we were signing Riquelme.

Yes but was outshone by Robben and Schweinsteiger.

It's mad how it can get this close to a transfer now without people even getting a sniff. I guess Venky's new cloak of secrecy seems to be working.

Is there a player (Messi apart) that EVERYONE on this board would be happy with???!!!

Assuming this is a striker and not a centre back.

Also assuming we're not splashing a fortune so rules out Sturridge.

Going to have a punt on Fabiano

Knowing some of the miserable buggers on here I think I can safely say that there isn't a player in the world who'd make them happy...
