perthblue02 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 if they took a founder member of the league out of existence surely there would be a massive backlash? Massive backlash from who,and what exactly. No one out there in the football world gives a toss about Blackburn Rovers,so its up to the fans and I think we have seen the level of protest the fans are prepared to get involved in,a few hundred.Thats the reason Jerome Anderson is sat with his feet firmly in the driving seat,Blackburn are an easy target with little to no resistance from the fans. Protest should be spontaneous angry and during the game from all sides of the ground, but it ain't going to happen at Blackburn. Totally agree and the reason Blackburn Rovers was "targeted" .Nobody outside of the club is interested or the bigger interests will be affected if they kick up a fuss and the majority of the supporters will go quietly for fear of being seen "against the club".

beerwins Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 As I said yesterday while the players are playing for him and they clearly are he will not be sacked, when he loses the players backing you will see it on the pitch and then I think the owners will react. If results keep going the way they have players heads will drop and Kean will have no-one to turn to, we have a bad manager but the players are giving their all this is the only reason we have had a decent chance of getting a result, yesterday was the clearest sign that the manager lost us the points and this wont sit well with players who are giving their all.
martonrover Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Not disputing that the players are playing for him but all that matters is 6 points from 10 games this Season and 28 from 93 in total. Whether they are playing for him or not his record is shocking and that would be enough for any sensible owners.
Backroom DE. Posted October 30, 2011 Backroom Posted October 30, 2011 If the players are playing for him surely it only makes it worse than his record is so bad?

Stuart Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Imagine if they weren't playing for him. I daren't.
rebelmswar Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Imagine if they weren't playing for him. I dream of that every night.
yoda Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I daren't. It's easy, we would be 6 points worse off, or 2 wins with a real manager
Stuart Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 You're right Yoda, not much difference at all in the great scheme of things. I guess that means the players still playing for him is therefore largely irrelevant! QED

QED thats right so the sooner the clown is gone the better, just a pity the Rao's can't see it too, or do they have to get approval from someone?
Stuart Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Well we got there, between us, quite quickly to be fair. Wonder how long it will take Venkys...?
yoda Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Well we got there, between us, quite quickly to be fair. Wonder how long it will take Venkys...? Iv'e said it before, The chicken slayers are relying on Indian mystic to get us out of the fire That, or waiting for Anderson to tell them what to do!
Neil Weaver Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 He's going nowhere! The V's have him on relegation bonus, they pocket the chute payments , they pocket sambas money in jan, they pocket fire sale in July , we go bust , they sell ewood as its not needed ,brockhall too.... They make a mint and venkys is famous and a brand name. .. Either that or the rumours prove correct. I fear that's too close to the case for comfort Abs. Keep the 'cheep' option of Kean in charge for another few weeks, ensure relegation, and what else could they do with players not wanting to stay etc.......
ABBEY Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Scary thought ,. Say it ain't so. Money in pocket and hey presto, unheard of venky ads! So far they are a joke BUT everyone and everyone has heard of them!
Kelbo Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Scary thought ,. Say it ain't so. Money in pocket and hey presto, unheard of venky ads! So far they are a joke BUT everyone and everyone has heard of them! Yep Abbey, Chicken, Cowards, both words could be used to describe our owners!!
FourLaneBlue Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 We aren't going to get in any of the big name managers being bandied about so we should be looking at up-and-coming lower league managers. Lee Clark fits the bill. He has been working wonders with Huddersfield (41 league games unbeaten!) and is going to be at higher levels in the future. He might not be able to save us from relegation, although would give it a far better bash than our pretend-manager, but would be exactly the kind of manager we need in the Championship. Talk of Ancelotti or Benitez, or even Hughes or O'Neill for that matter, under present circumstances and our present ownership is delusional.
McClarky Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 My prediction is that we'll lose next week and SK gets the boot. The break gives us a chance to bring in a real manager for the run of potentially winnable games up to Christmas. If he doesn't go next week I am almost at the point of writing the season off.
ABBEY Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 macker it aint happening we are stuck with coco.
47er Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 If the players are playing for him surely it only makes it worse than his record is so bad? Just about to write that same thing! The players are with him all the way to the Championship, at which point they will leave!
