Clitherover Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Well, it's almost seven o'clock and he's still the manager, this is the final straw for me, I won't be spending another penny on anything Rovers related till these b******s are gone from the club. I'll still attend any future protests outside the ground but I refuse to do anything that is going to line these corrupt thieves' pockets. Well done Venkys, you've achieved your obvious goal of alienating the fans, you give Indian people a bad name and should be ashamed of yourself.
AlanK Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I do wonder if Kean wants to turn to the fans and say " give me a bloody break, you try working for these useless idiots ". Hence the " i hope the fans understand what we are trying to do " line he always comes out with.

gumboots Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 never, Never NEVER let go easiest not to hope any more then if a miracle happens it's twice as nice. haven't given up on th eclub, just on the current owners wanting or knowing how to fix what they have broken
Lurid Coat Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 According to Nick Harris Grant is currently in India. Let's pray to every god out there, that he is not talking to our intelligent owners. That would be the ultimate pisstake, wouldn't it? Firing the worst ever Premier League manager and replacing him with the second worst. F*** off Venky's, have you learned nothing from this? Why do you always have to take advice from the worst, snakelike agents in the biz, who obviously will always try to push their own - SH|T - clients? 'cking hell, words fail me.

donnermeat Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Zahavi represents Hughes too, good and bad in all stables I guess. I thought it was Joorabchian?
ruggles1995 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 any1 else struggling to watch other football on tv, i cant actually bring myself to watch any of it, Got my tickets for boxing day and dont want to go to that

Their stubborn refusal to do things properly - i.e. take advice from a decent chairman who actually has football knowledge, thereby sending subjective agents packing - is utterly shocking and should lead to them being mocked in the cruellest fashion by the national and international press.
lowerdarwenblue Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I have just posted on The Times of India website. I urge as many other fans to do the same. Rick http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/eplopinions/11187838.cms
davulsukur Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 According to Nick Harris Grant is currently in India. Let's pray to every god out there, that he is not talking to our intelligent owners. Could be bad news, Harris has alot of good Rovers info. Our owners simply can't be that stupid? Can they? Aren't our owners here sacking kean?
ada2020 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I thought it was Joorabchian? Now you mention it I think your right, my bad.
Kamy100 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I thought it was Joorabchian? Joorabchian and Zahavi work together.
Pete1981 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 mrwawild Wayne Wild #rovers Unless told otherwise directly by the owners then it's clear there is no investment. Therefore no money for big name manager.

sns4ever Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Right I dont want to begin an argument however with how inept Venkys are wouldnt sacking Kean on its on be a step forward?I no grant is not a good manager however he is actually a manager and the fact that he has managed three different teams means he has a ton more managerial experience then kean. That is a step forward in my book now no one on here can tell me that they are actually expecting Venkys to sack Kean AND employ a good manager like Hughes or Benitez?I for one dont think they will sack kean but in my opinion IF they sack Kean i would have any one even if that was Grant or Bruce I mean it cant get any worse on the pitch can it?at the very least we might get an honest press conference?before I get abused for this post it is just my opinion and a way to open up a topic.
EwoodDawn Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Done. Rao family = killing chickens + football clubs. Also done (full post on Venky's year on thread)
Jock Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Saggy Chops Wades In I'm getting sick to death of opposition managers defending Kean. It must be the LMA code or something, together with the fact that they will want their 3 points when the face us. Well said mate, whats it got to do with Bagpuss? He's the one who said last season that e feared for us after Sam got sacked. You can tell when Redknapp is lying, his lips move.
mayo Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Really thought he would have been sacked today, not sure why now considering Venky's excellent track record to date, but it just makes me so angry and ###### off he's still here! Only option left I can think of is can we not try and get him detained under the mental health act?! It's obvious he suffers from mental illness and apparently (according to the BBC) "a patient can only be sectioned if two doctors and a social worker or a close relative of the patient believe it is necessary." Surely we must be able to get 2 doctors and a social worker to agree....
Athlete Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 mrwawild Wayne Wild #rovers Unless told otherwise directly by the owners then it's clear there is no investment. Therefore no money for big name manager. so basiclly we are shafted completely..unless a cheap unknown can save us ( thats if they even sack kean ) cos at this moment I'd take anyone over kean.. Think I may just knock the stoke game on the head unless something happens in between as I am now totally P***** off and am preperared for relegation and ready to start a fresh with a new manager + owners in the Championship
Mozzer Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 something isnt right - kean is still the manager despite us being bottom of the league - this isnt right - theres no way he should be in a job - us fans know this , why dont the owners ??? i have never hated a manager as much as i hate kean - years ago when we lost games atleast we could come away from the game and be "proud to be a rover " , now ive never been so ashamed - we dont even try , our manager comes out with clueless comments - and you can tell the owners just feed of his bull ... the sad story is , altho many people will believe all is lost - however if we change manager now (get sparky back ) we still have a chance of staying up ..however the longer we keep this clown in charge the longer our club is ruined and we will NOT be able to claw back from the championship The venkys need to change something before its too late !!!!!!!!!!

windymiller7 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 An interesting one here, could just be me clutching at (very thin) straws but, whilst watching the Wigan-L'pool game, the comentator mentioned that the game was a sell out and "even Roy Keane couldn't get a ticket". Why would he need a ticket at short notice for a game in the north west involving a team we play in a matter of days? Is he back living in the NW or is he here for another reason? Am I missing something about his recent spat with Fergie? Or are we contemplating a namesake? Perhaps Mrs Ds way out is by saying she'd employed the wrong Kean(e). Iknow this is me putting 2&2 together and probably getting 25 but we can hope. How bad is it when you actually think Roy Keane would be a decent replacement?! Not exactly set the managerial world alight but I'd still take him at the moment. Like I said, this isn't based on anything other than me just hoping and praying for anyone other than the imposter!
Jansen is God Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 How bad is it when you actually think Roy Keane would be a decent replacement?! Not exactly set the managerial world alight but I'd still take him at the moment. Remember what he did in his first season in charge of Sunderland? I don't expect us to survive but IF Roy Keane came then there'd be a little bit of hope.
