RibbleValleyRover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I haven't heard such quiet goal celebrations from a home crowd since Barnes & Redknapp scored at Anfield on 14/5/95. Because the fans know if Rovers win Kean is going nowhere. We are in a no-win situation.
Roverall Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 The Kean Out chants are coming through loud and clear but with Rovers in the ascendancy chanting simply isn't going to be heard. Swansea can pass and move but their defence is woeful. I can already see Kean's triumphalist grin at 16:50. Sad.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I want us to win. To expect Venky's to sack Kean if we lose is incredibly optimistic based on the last 3/4 weeks so Im just hoping we can somehow get something today. Yakubu does appear to be a great signing to be fair.
Sysagent Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 any high 5's this time? No that I could see... Be typical that we get a result here and that Kean gets a get out of jail card, I bloody hope not.
Rover Down Under Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Because the fans know if Rovers win Kean is going nowhere. We are in a no-win situation. What the fans don't know is that if we lose he still won't be going anywhere.
Andy3809 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I want Kean out as much as anyone but all the come on Swansea comments on here are annoying the hell out of me. Regardless of what is happening behind the scenes wishing for us to get beat is just wrong. Glad your all on here and not at the ground.
pick32 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Anyone no the Yaks goal record heard its 8 goals in 9 starts now.
Emge Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Sick of feeling downhearted when Rovers score Me too. I cant believe it. I cant stand watching Kean celebrate when Venkys FC scores. Such an alien feeling.... Positive: The Yak is on fire, scores alot of goals = We wont see Jason Roberts anytime soon = Very good Negative: Steve Kean and his Venkys FC winning means that Venkys somehow thinks that he is all of a sudden a good manager, and maybe this victory will see him staying for a couple of more months = Certain relegation
AspRover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Quick question, does the fact that it's amongst the most laboured and frankly poor puns I am likely to make this year prevent us, should he score again, from celebrating a Yaktrick? Discuss.
Audax Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Swans started 4 Welshmen, perhaps a tribute to Speed: http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2011/12/03/england/premier-league/blackburn-rovers-football-club/swansea-city-afc/1117170/ I don't believe all 4 usually start, maybe two. It's a shame Man City got that goal vs. Norwich, deserved but a bit fortunate, through a forest of legs in front of the Canaries net.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I want Kean out as much as anyone but all the come on Swansea comments on here are annoying the hell out of me. Regardless of what is happening behind the scenes wishing for us to get beat is just wrong. Glad your all on here and not at the ground. Ok so if we win then what? Another 4 games with nhim in charge. See the bigger picture if you can...
BuckyRover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Ok so if we win then what? Another 4 games with nhim in charge. See the bigger picture if you can... You really think he will be dismissed if we lose?
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 C'mon you blues! We need the points no matter who is in charge as staying up gives at least a glimmer of hope the mess can be sorted out. Go down and we're done.
Amo Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 You really think he will be dismissed if we lose? More chance than if he wins, right?
Rovermatt Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 The chances of him being sacked if we lose are minimal at best. I'd rather have the three points. Any word of the protests?
Wolverine Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Quick question, does the fact that it's amongst the most laboured and frankly poor puns I am likely to make this year prevent us, should he score again, from celebrating a Yaktrick? Discuss. I believe we can, yes.
BuckyRover Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 More chance than if he wins, right? I don't know. We have lost a lot more than we have won and he is still here.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Yak trick, where would we be without this guy?
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 You really think he will be dismissed if we lose? I do actually yeah,I think for the first time our "bullet proof" manager has descended back to a mere mortal. Mister Sniper please proceed...
BRFC1995 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 ###### 2-1 would be alright..........anything more and he'll dine out on it till next christmas in the championship.. ffs i just want him gone or at least made fuzzy like horrific injuries on news coverage whenever he's on tv and with his words spoken by an actor KEAN OUT
