CrazyIvan
Found these two articles, your thoughts http://www.google...text_abuse.html http://www.thesun.co...hris-Samba.html Hardly threats according to the write-up... I reckon this is aimed at making people thing Rovers fans are doing it until they read the article...
perthblue02
Wonder if it was Kean who forwarded this "story" to the press, sounds like his style after gloating on SSN yesteday at 11am UK time that Samba is going nowhere. Also see Kean's mate nicko running a story about a loan the club made to Samba My link

Stuart
Oh, and what a disingenuous, shot stirring WUM of a thread title. Do you work for Blackburn Rovers PR, Telf?
gumboots
If true does it mean that the other players will all be turning down lucrative moves elsewhere in favour of staying to fight for Rovers? Or will they all feel so disheartened by Samba's departure that they too have to seek moves away to get over it?
Kendalrover
Whats 'the great escape'? If we had a decent manager we would be nowhere near the relegation zone. I suppose the next time we win a game in a few weeks it will again the the start of the 'great escape'.
philipl
There are a few thicko "don't let the door hit your arse on the way out" type of comments but: - yet again an unknown poster starts an odd thread so sadly it immediately is deeply suspicious given the way certain people who think they are close to Mrs D operate - and the same people posting adverse comments about Samba are the same people calling for others to speak out. Well Samba HAS spoken out vociferously. He has turned critical matches around when Kean has lost the dressing room and he has very clear in direct communication to Mrs Desai about what has been wrong at Ewood and at least 886 fans agree with him. Guest Rovers4Good
I bet he's really bothered Not sure he'll be getting many texts but you can see Kean and a couple of others doing it but not many. Also, there was a report that Rovers are asking for money back from the player? Like that will ever happen. Roll on.........
sijoco
I for one will wish Samba all the best and want to thank him for his services to the club. I'm just surprised he's stopped this long. The players texting him need to have a word with themselves and "get real", he'll not the the last first teamer to leave this month. Agreed tho, the title of the thread instantly made me think it was fans texting him.
Hughesy
Found these two articles, your thoughts http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4065571/Blackburn-players-fury-at-wantaway-Chris-Samba.html An insider said: "His team-mates feel really let down by him To be fair looking at Robbos after match interview on saturday, I could imagine they are. He seemed very much of the 'f##k Chris Samba attitude'

Ricky
I think you'll probably find that Telf is responsible for the footy daft site that the first link comes from. He's posted twice and both have been to that little known site. I'm guessing its not a bad way to drum up hits. I may be wrong however.
winstonsmith
Found these two articles, your thoughts http://www.google.com/3740-samba_in_text_abuse.html http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4065571/Blackburn-players-fury-at-wantaway-Chris-Samba.html Those two articles do not provide any support for your assertion 'Samba getting text threats'. The one refers to players texting Samba to say 'You should be ashamed of yourself' and the other refers to teammates texting to say they feel a bit betrayed. On no reasonable interpretation could either of these be considered to constitute 'threats'. And, by the way, I do not think they could even be considered to constitute 'abuse' or 'vitriol', whether 'disgusting' or otherwise, unlike, of course, 'Kean Out' and 'You don't know what you are doing' !
