jodrell Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 What I find unbelievable (although probably more believable than I would've 2 years ago) is the fact that having realised their cock up, not satisfied with having to have an off-the-shelf job, someone actually thought that the best way round it was to have a white 3rd kit!?!?, does this still not cause us problems for Sheff Wed & Huddersfield? (& Pray we don't get QPR away in the cup) It's not like they couldn't have another colour, like maybe red or yellow! (sarcastic tone). Or Bristol Rovers away

Nobert Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I don't believe the story about Kean's relatives selling knock off shirts or whatever, but I do believe Kamy's third kit screw up. These tits are a disgrace to humanity.
promoted2001 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 So we have home blue/white, away blue, 3rd white - then what happens when we play Sheffield Wednesday or Brighton away? Do we then need a 4th kit? They play in blue/white stripes. Maybe they should research our opponents before choosing the default template to use!
Kelbo Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 We need two kits, our home kit and all red, possibly blue shorts as we used to when playing teams with white shorts, end of problem, just needs a little thought but it appears as though the brains at Ewood and India have been removed and replaced with meat pies!!
Doug Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I always liked our Red and Black stripe kit with black shorts. Sure its been tried a few times over the decades,
Grabbi Graeme Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 On the subject of kits, just watching Gatafe against Barcelona and Barca are wearing their away kit which is yellow shorts and a shirt that is orange at the top and yellow at the bottom and the two colours merge in the middle, makes them look like ice lollies.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Interestingly contacted Umbro today as I wanted the 3rd shirt. Got told that there is no more orders in from Rovers and they only had a certain amount made. Beyond belief, how can you not stock a club shirt?
Carr Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I think they should either bring back that black one with the red stripes we had back in the McEwans era or that shiny orange one with the silver collar I remember wearing as a lad. No clashes that way.
thenodrog Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I think they should either bring back that black one with the red stripes we had back in the McEwans era or that shiny orange one with the silver collar I remember wearing as a lad. No clashes that way. The first (if you mean the one with the red pin stripes) was excellent, the second vile. It looked like a Sunday League team had worn it down at Pleasi for 3 seasons and washed it in cold water with no detergent.
Glenn Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Whilst BomBom is normally a pretty good source of info, this rumor has generated 5 pages of discussion and not a shred of evidence. God bless the internet.

Had the pic with my sister, she wore the home & me the away. Agreed the orange & silver was vile!
Al Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The best ever away shirt was the red and black halved one. Really smart that one was.
bradeagle Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 i think any of the red and black ones have been smart. the colours really work. hate all red and white and red when dabbled with that. even just black would do. these oranges yellows and other nonsence should never be made!

EWOODACE1 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I'm sure we have always done well when our away kit is yellow. Saying that my memory is shocking.
AggyBlue Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I'm sure we have always done well when our away kit is yellow. Saying that my memory is shocking. We did really well last season, your memory can't be that bad can it?

God bless the internet. Ha ha.. Indeed. Bit like sitting around at the pub chatting about nothing. Still entertaining, even if pointless. This way, I guess we can do it anytime of the day.
