G Somerset Rover
Haven't heard about him for years so no idea what he had been up to leading up to this untimely death. RIP Dalian.

booth
Blimey, I remember him one of the better strikers around in the first season of the PL.
tomphil
Top striker back in the day, Only 48 and a tragic way to go, there'll be a hell of an inquiry into this RIP
Husky
Haven't heard about him for years so no idea what he had been up to leading up to this untimely death. It's the same with most 'stars' after their retirement. I remembered him instantly when seeing the News - yet otherwise I would never have given him a second thought for the rest of my days. onlyonejackwalker
RIP Dalian Atkinson. Sounds like there is more to come from this story. Crap way to go.
Audax
What a pity, taser is an electric shock if I have this correctly and with some folks could bring on a heart attack. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-37082207
Jock
Didn't he get goal of the season one year? I can certainly remember him running what seemed like the full length of the pitch and the slotting it in coolly. Speaking as an electrician I don't like the idea of the taser. blueboy3333
Showed his goal on the news earlier. He ran from near halfway, danced round a couple of challenges and then chipped the keeper (Hans Segers?) from the edge of the area. Sublime. Think it was goal of the season. I wonder if the nascent Balck Lives Matter UK will get involved.
A cup of beans
Absolutely tragic. Recall him from my childhood being a goal machine for Sheffield Wednesday in the late 80s. At a time when the mere mention of a footballers name on the radio was distinctively fascinating. RIP
Norbert Rassragr
The nostalgic days of Sports Report, match summaries by Stuart Hall (before we found out about.......you know........), Danny Baker on 606, that newspaper with the pink pages. Starting to sound like Ron Manager now.
