I posted a link to the spreadsheet with the numbers available, also been passed on to the LET.

I'd suggest that after every home game, the Coalition put a statement out with the numbers, actual vs publicised.

I believe the club will do some form of 150th anniversary incentive - will we finally see the kit? kids for a quid? owners putting a drink behind the bar etc etc.. They will 100% get out of this unscathed like usual and the fans will be made to look in the wrong.

For the majority of Rovers fans, those who can see the Wood for the Trees, gimmicks simply wont work.

The Wednesday game will suffer from an 'organic' boycott anyway.

After the Ipswich debacle when they charged folk again for the replay, a precedent has been set now and they'll have to do the same for the Wednesday game. This time, I reckon folk will just not pay it, a lot of ST holders will swerve it, and we'll see a lower turnout than was had against Oxford.

Club have already announced that anyone who bought a ticket for the first game will get free admission to the replay.

Refunds if you can't make it won't be accepted however.

Not as simple as that, everytime there's a home game you have to create a new freedom of information request & it's down to the police to provide that information within 4 weeks.

Brave move by the coalition, the statements should be backed up by the LET/EJ, what have they to lose if they're banned already?

Unfortunately, I don't think the messages will reach all supporters, and some who see them will ignore them.  The attendances may be somewhat lower than usual but will go unnoticed in the grand scheme of things (weather, time of year, form etc) and it will be the regime blaming the fans once again, divide and conquer.

I really hope the boycotts work and we get massive media coverage about this, sadly I don't think we will.

Surely they quickly pivot to the Sheff Wed game. The Watford one could very well backfire.

I think they have gone for a 3pm Saturday fixture to maximise impact and exposure. A mid week fixture, a replayed midweek fixture on a cold and wet night, the reduced turn out can be more easily ‘justified’ by the stooges.

I think the real crunch time for supporter boycotting and/or general apathy is going to be this summer.

We just about flogged 8k season tickets, and now people are doing FOIs which show only 6k people are turning up to some matches, which includes away fans and walk-ons.

Presumably then, for some matches, only 5k out of 8k STHs are attending. Every team inevitably loses a few attendees for TV/Night/weather factors, but not by that order of magnitude (a third). This isn't sustainable in the Championship, we must be getting the lowest attendances in league, discounting the large away followings that come to Ewood.

My prediction is that this summer they will either have to slash ST prices to those similar at Preston and Bolton, or we are going to see a record low uptake. They must be panicking (or maybe they genuinely don't give a toss).

Ah I see, nobody will buy a Championship club if they happen to be situated in a town that’s poor (even though the majority of the fanbase doesn’t even live in it)

And that’s fine, but then you have to expect 6,000 plus bums on seats as it’s a Saturday 3pm.

Demographics have changed quite a lot since 2010 (though yes, not like it was an ethnically homogenous and affluent town then either). However, the fanbase is still there just more disparte across Lancs and beyond.

Definitely the latter.

Season tickets will be £449 in the Blackburn End next season, and that will be the early bird offering.

Don’t be fooled by a handful of posters. The overwhelming consensus is that change is needed. I understand why some say “support the team” perhaps because they believe Venkys will never sell (which may be true). But even then, the demand is simple: we want Venkys to show they're even know we exist!

This letter is smart because it forces an answer either way. They respond with investment, dare I say,,,, engagement, or they ignore it, which tells us everything we need to know. If it’s the latter, then it’s clear there is no change, and protests will only intensify.

I think its fair to say that when some people see a boycott being put in place that they automatically assume its for the team and poor results and don't actually understand the reasons why and just think that people are doing it because we arwnt winning. I think there's a column of fans that don't understand or see what's happened for the last 15 years. Some people go down there and don't follow anything on social media so are unaware of the background issues. There's various reasons why people won't boycott and alot of it is just generally being unaware of anything, that being said there's alot that do know.

Anyway… doesn’t the social media reaction tell us exactly why the regime will be feeling pretty relaxed about it all this morning.

I feel really deflated about it.

Let people like this believe what they want to believe.Apparently,so says this sage, there are no buyers for Rovers even after Venkys have refused offers.

He wants football at the top end of the Championship?...meanwhile back in the real world!

No criticism of how Venkys have run the Club into the ground? how strange.

This fella on the payroll.

Yep, same fella that popped up on those Twitter live streams a few months ago defending the regime to the hilt.

I was thinking that, he is an A1 attention seeker, there is no doubt. Loves to play my Grandad was the Chairman but just likes to be the total contrarian.

Thomas is a Jeff Bezos wannabee. Arrogant prick who thinks because he has registered a company on companies house that he is the most educated person in all things business.

Also, this call to arms has galvanised some right throbbers on social media "actual blackburn rovers fans" have penned a rival open letter
