roverblue Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Sounds like the players liked Steve Kean as much as us fans did. 2 Quote
NeilInBristol Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 It's a great listen & watch!! I remember that spurs game well. Loved Samba when he was with us! Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Would be funny seeing Big Sam take charge and then just keep telling them to sell every press conference. Edited February 11 by TugaysMarlboro 2 Quote
SuperBrfc Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Fair play to Big Sam and Phil Thompson for saying it as it is. The more people in the game that speak up, the better. That initial reaction from Thompson of "Are they still in charge?" is a common one found amongst football fans who haven't seen us much since relegation. People tend to be exasperated that they are still here and are still messing things up. 3 Quote

The club is just a fucking disgrace tbh. Assume Pasha was straight onto the podcast to get it cut. 11 Quote

Hasta Posted yesterday at 13:17 Posted yesterday at 13:17 (edited) It the whole incident that shines a dodgy light on Venkys, Anderson and the FA. That period cost us the 15 years of being well run club, and no-one has ever been accountable for what happened. The truth has always had to be cobbled together with scraps of information. Even now, almost 15 years later, if you dare speak about it it gets deleted. Why? Cos it was in breach of all known rules, and people will have financially benefited because of it. All 3 of the named parties above would probably want it deleting. Edited yesterday at 19:34 by Hasta 5 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 17:31 Posted yesterday at 17:31 Now you know why ex players and managers don't speak out. This has happened a few times recently even with some lads who barely got near the first team. 5 2 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted yesterday at 18:17 Backroom Posted yesterday at 18:17 A shame someone like Allardyce, who presumably has plenty in his bank account by this point, won't take on these people in court (if we assume legal threats were issued in this case). You'd imagine there would be some interesting things discussed. I suppose it was probably the podcast company who have backed down though, rather than Allardyce himself. 5 1 Quote
booth Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Has Anderson had it removed? The truth hurts a lot more than the FA rules it seems. Quote

It's not worth the financial risk to Big Sam. Quote

Unlikely Big Sam would want to start any court case where things like transfers are discussed considering his history on such matters? Quote
