Souness broke the news to him after a game. He had his suit ready and everything then tord grip convinced sven to take an extra defender I’ve read it also. And Keown never played ! Typical Sven. Emerald Isle Rover Posted July 22 Posted July 22 The debate isn’t about the player it’s about their rovers career to have a player in your all time rovers team there has to be something to support that for what they have done for the club. Not by their name who or they were in the past or went on to be. Anything under a season doesn’t warrant that Quote

roverandout Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Shearer was probably the second best striker in Europe in the 90s behind Ronaldo. Despite 2 career threatening injuries r9 was on another planet. If it wasn't for those injuries he would probably have been the best ever 7 Quote

Tugayisgod Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Seeing as there have no rumours recently, thought I'd start one. Just read about Le Havre's financial problems and wonder if this guy is worth a cheeky punt as alternative to Baradji   3 Quote

Unlike Yorke himself who was dire once he downed tools. Easy to think that the partnership was a disaster for Rovers, but for a while it was great. Beating Spurs 4-0 at their place to get into Europe was an absolute delight. 2 Quote

I wonder if the Baradji deal happened whether Travis or Tronstad would then be sold...If we arnt selling either then I find it difficult that we'll be spending in that area.  All in all I feel Travis will leave, if in that case then it's critical we spend to fill that gap. Edited July 22 by BankEnd Rover Quote
