Oh how people scoffed when Rovers were predicted on the BBC sport site of finishing 23rd.

If I had any money to spare I would lump on us to go down

Middlesbrough set to sign Sunderland's Alan Browne on loan.

In case we werenโ€™t pissed off enough.

He wouldn't have come here knowing Boro were in for him.ย

2.7m flr Hyam? Wow. Thatโ€™s good business.ย

For the bean counters. Not in the interests of Rovers and the league we play in. ย Itโ€™s terrible business

I keep seeing people say this but it really isn't. It's only good business if it's reinvested properly and not pocketed by the owners.ย

I fear this is the beginning of a spiral down the leagues.ย

I much preferred the days when we saw players run down their contracts and leave for free. At least it gave us the chance of competing in this league.

Venkys out! Suhail out! Rudy out!

Would suggest they couldnโ€™t help but accept a couple of extra million despite knowing there was no time for a replacement. Greed trumped wisdom as per usual. Hyam is Mr Mediocre and if a replacement was found then fair enough. If thereโ€™s no replacement then itโ€™s greedy and negligent.ย

Got a decent side for league one fun next seasonย

My only glimmer of hope is that often all assets are stripped and costs cut prior to a sale.ย

Relentless cost-cutting. Losing Hyam guarantees L1 next season

Much as I'm with you (and I hope you all know by now how I feel about this shitshow) but it wouldn't surprise me if we managed to stay up.

That's the dilemma. If we do, then Pasha/RGs smug faces will be unbearable. If we go down, well gloom all round. But, would it hasten the departure of the loons. That I don't know.

Will just be used to pay a month's wages.ย

The spin now will beย

the buzz word transition - mistakes of the past meant players out of contract could leave if the right money came in

now all we need to do is bed the new players in and get behind the teamย

then hereโ€™s the kicker they will promote Jan as being a window we will now targetย

Iv remained calm always said wait to window is closed but thatโ€™s it pretty much done and tbh looks like rovers could be done too bottom 5 battle commencesย

Surprised Pickering hasn't been moved on, I bet they tried.ย

Annoying that it's taken till an hour before the window to bid almost 3 million for Hyam FFS...ย
