I keep seeing people say this but it really isn't. It's only good business if it's reinvested properly and not pocketed by the owners. 

I fear this is the beginning of a spiral down the leagues.

I much preferred the days when we saw players run down their contracts and leave for free. At least it gave us the chance of competing in this league.

Would suggest they couldn’t help but accept a couple of extra million despite knowing there was no time for a replacement. Greed trumped wisdom as per usual. Hyam is Mr Mediocre and if a replacement was found then fair enough. If there’s no replacement then it’s greedy and negligent.

That's the dilemma. If we do, then Pasha/RGs smug faces will be unbearable. If we go down, well gloom all round. But, would it hasten the departure of the loons. That I don't know.
