That Sabino chap doesn’t half like downvoting criticism of Venkys, Pasha, or Sufi. Funny that.

Hi, Sabino chap here.

No, It's not criticism of the Reos etc al. It the constant crap about them being happy we missed playoffs and the absurd nonsense about being frightened we get promoted. Crazy.

is 5m next to nothing tho? probably not. We need to have good scouting and analysts to find the right players within the budget

It is when your best players are sold.

Certainly seem to be anti-Eustace rather than anti-Venkys/Pasha/Waggot/Gestede

recruitment works better if they are align as team what we want

On your post I think I would like some money money spend this summer but I not in charge of Rovers.

Are you saying that we spent £5m this season (I really don't think we did) or that we will have it for this summer?

And do you think this club is aligned on transfers?

Per the Football web pages website the average attendance this season was 16,161 which is the highest since we were relegated from the Premier League.

Maybe we stand alone as having supporters who delight in making inaccurate statements designed to show their club in a bad light.

You really do come out with some absolute guff.

Recruitment would work better if we could keep hold of staff. The turnover of personnel in that particular area cannot be conducive to success, there is very little continuity.

And one of the reasons for this recently has been the power struggle going on which in turn goes back to poor ownership and leadership.

We had this conversation last week about this season transfer spend being between £4-5m. Gestede said similar budget for next season as this once as I explained previously FFS.

Do we need do this week again? It's a new week do we need do repeat mode AGAIN!

I think Ismael, Gestede and scouting staff are.

I agree it would great to keep staff. Gestede has bought his own head coach in and own staff in the recruitment department.

Losing staff is a symptom of how the club is run I afraid and I honestly don't see that changing with the likes of Gestede being given more power.

well last summer Waggott and Pasha got rid of GB, Kimberley and some of recruitment staff employed by us

Gestede has brought in some new staff members now

I know and that emphasises my point. The lack of continuity and constant departures should worry every Rovers supporter.

Why do you think it will be any different under Gestede?

Cos he brought in his own staff like the ex Manchester United scout and Michael Cairney is joining us next month.

If a bigger club in for them in 12 months time they of course will go.

Their predecessors didn't all leave because they moved to bigger clubs. Broughton and Park (twice) were marginalised and victims of the power struggles. There are other recruitment staff who have left who simply couldn't work for this regime.

The evidence is irrefutable.

Didn't Park leave first time down to Mowbray leaving? Sure GB said this cos he wanted him to stay on.

Yes other staff have left the recruitment team for different reasons and don't know what they were. If you do fine and I accept that. One left for league 1 club but promotion in terms of job role.

GB left but we dont know the reasons why. We all guess why. Now we seem back to similar plan but different stewardship

Amazing that he sees no issues on the football side (I.e not the Commercial and communication side before you start reeling off your commercial and comms plan).

Have I actually said that Matty? As per usual seeing and reading what you want

So you think we now have the right people with the likes of Rudy Gestede?

Actions speak louder than words sabino, players out of contract, players walking for free, not backing JDT and especially Eustace after his efforts since talking charge.

Doesn't add up does it? Which often leads to at time outlandish speculation and claims, which could be fixed by running the club competently, thats all we ask.

Don’t recall your answer, sorry. Pretty simple question, is Rudy the right person to be heading ‘football operations’ at Blackburn Rovers?

You asked me the same question on the 12th March. My answer was "I think personally we need someone with greater experience in that role and experience in the Rovers's head of football operations who has dealt with agents, scouting, recruitment, etc. which nothing against Gestede and his role.

my answer hasn't changed Matty

How can there actually be a plan or stability or a real blueprint when staff are changing behind the scenes every 6 -12 months.

It's ridiculous and whilst some of it is normal most of it isn't and there is a reason for it.

It isn't a method to bring success it's a method to continually try and cut corners, to one min start building it up then then next min start cutting it back again.

It's a clown show of winging it year by year just sat waiting from summer to summer to see what budget the owners grant and what we have to work with.

Until there is a genuine well laid out 3 year plan that they ALL are onboard with and will follow then the clownshow continues.

Over 7000 sold so they've extended phase 1 to the 14th May, why not just bin the bloody phases off? Must admit I'm fairly surprised we've shifted that many (although it's a poor figure). Suppose the decent run recently has made people have a change of heart, if the shocking form had continued we'd be around 4-5k I reckon

Extending the deadline is an admission they got it wrong in the first place (although they'll never admit it).

The figures don't lie.
