simongarnerisgod Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago finicky lot the west ham fans, football has to be played "west ham way" whatever that is,well it`s not brought them much success and moving to an athletic stadium has further eroded their identity and took 15 points a season off them, upton park was a proper tight ground that nobody liked playing at,bit like burnden park and the old den 1 Quote

We can only watch on with envious eyes as Ewood drowns in acceptance and apathy 3 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The core now is largely made up of ageing fans who've seen us middle of the road then great, then good and then just back to being middle of the road so they accept it as normal. And younger fans who've just grown up with what we are now - as the likes of me did in the mid 80's / early 90's and haven't seen anything different. So just accept it alongside falling for the 20 mill a year line. Many many of the passionate fans have actually got so angry with everything they've just walked away odd game aside because the whole thing has been hopeless. Quote

The town itself doesn't help with the matchday experience, growing up there were so many pubs etc to visit and the town was absolutely booming. Saturdays shopping in town would be a write off - because rovers were at home! Now? 90% couldn't care less the town has moved on from the club and they have distanced themselves. Quote
