Herbie6590 Posted August 19 Posted August 19 We have decided to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Rovers with another retro shirt...we've done 1970's, 1960's & so now we're doing...that's right...the 1950's! Pay your tribute to Ronnie Clayton, Bill Eckersley & Bobby Langton amongst others by wearing our shirt (complete with reversed halves & halved sleeves!) with extreme pride.ย ๐ค๐ All the details are HERE - we are taking orders until 2nd September so don't miss out - order now & be ready for the anniversary match at Ewood. ย OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS - please email media@brfcs.com & we will work out bespoke postage for you... 6 Quote

rog of the rovers Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Having seen the shirt in real life and dealing with clothing as a full time profession, I'd like to endorse the quality of the garment. The colours, the collar stitching, the cuffs, hem stitch is all of a high standard. Sign me up for one Ian! ย 5 Quote
Miller11 Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Love the detail. The quality looks absolutely top notch! 2 Quote

LWX Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Damn, I should've picked one of the earlier ones up for 25 quid, was it? This is a bit out of my range right now. Looks very beautiful! Quote

LWX Posted August 21 Posted August 21 It's true, you can see the quality, even from the photos. ๐น 1 Quote
lraC Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I love the look of these and have ordered me one and one for my son, for his up coming 35th birthday. Im sure he will be delighted with it. It makes sense commemorating the 150th this way, instead of what the club are offering and we will wear them with pride. Great effort to all involved. 5 Quote

They were expensive but good quality. Now they are normally made in the far East. Still expensive but the quality isnโt what it was. Iโll bet that your shirts are better quality. The 1960โs one I bought certainly was. ย Iโm not really up for buying one of the 1950โs shirts but if you get stuck with any Iโll buy one to support what I think a really good cause. 1 Quote

Upside Down Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Ordered mine and can't wait for it. If the quality is anything like the 60s shirts then it's well worth it. Quote

I wouldn't want to give them the opportunity to claim any responsibility for something that took care and effort. 1 Quote
