Having seen their line up, and watched a bit of City, they definitely have a patched up defence and midfield that can be got at. But they still have good quality in goal, central defence captain, and front three. Their danger man is often McCrorie (their Alebiosu) and Randell in central midfield has the ability to run the game if we dont nullify him.

City fans around me seem confident. But I think we've got a chance here. Might come down to how much Rovers fancy it.

Weirdly enough I thought De Neve had one of his better games first half on Saturday. And ends up getting substituted at half time, singled out for criticism in Public and dropped for the next game.

I guess you mean, why he is selected week in, week out? I think it is pretty clear - if the game plan is to play a team of low cost journeymen, then the most obvious candidates for the team sheet are your 'low cost journeymen'.

Having said that, if that is the game plan, then Ryan Alebiosu is surely playing himself out of contention on a regular basis.

Not much choice given Tavares has stunk the place out so far and Baradji hasnt even been available for selection due to injury?

I blame Morishita, I think he is way off it to date.

Moreshita played one lovely cross in where someone should have been pouncing on the rebound but wasted another great opportunity to break with a terrible attempt at a pass to Ohashi.

I realise this is an 'if wishes were fishes' but if our last ball was even half decent, considering the teams quality has taken a tremendous knock, the football we play for the first 50 mins can be as good as any Eustace or even JDT ball (if not as free flowing).

 

Unfortunately it's the final ball and the remaining 40 minutes that's a problem to solve
