Gueye has to go. Has no impact on games anymore. Has he had a positive impact on any game this season?

Using Hindsight, we should have got rid in the summer.

Gueye would be on the subs bench in a netball match. 6ft 5, never wins a ball in the air, total waste of money.

Ismael has described Sidnei Taveres as "one for the future".

He (badly) clarified that he means Taveres needs to learn and develop more and not put pressure on him.

He could very well be lined up to replace Tronstad in the summer.

Ismaels a total wanker, Taveres is one for the future out tray.

3 leaving, so centre back signing, right wing back signing, striker signing and long term Tronstad's replacement with players like Gueye and Pickering leaving. Neither starting

Your forgetting the.most important signing, a new manager. No wonder other clubs showed Ismael the door.

Weirdly reckon they'll back Valerian in the window annoyingly.

All to save face on a botched summer window.

I hope they do back Valerian, and we go shooting up the league. But I still will not be buying a season-ticket, for next season.

Given he has spoken directly to the owners, then I reckon they will give/back him with the signings he wants(I hope so), cos this squad need another centre back and striker

Gueye, Pickering and De Neve will move on IMO

We all (and I include R99 in that) hope that happens

However, prior experience tells us that it wont

Not watched the interview.

Did he mean he has spoken with the owners regarding the January window or just that he has spoken directly to the owners since he has joined the club?

The former West Brom and Watford boss also says he has had direct contact with the club's owners who are based in India.

"We spoke on the phone directly so there is normal communication and I felt the full support which is important.

"We have someone here we can discuss things with but every time we plan something you have to wait a little while for the feedback.

"I can't complain that any of the problems I speak about internally aren't taken seriously - sometimes we want things to happen quickly but you have to accept sometimes the rhythm of things going in some kind of direction."

His answer was ambiguous as to which of those was the case, it could have meant anything from he has spoken to them on the phone briefly once, just before/after he joined, to he speaks to them on a daily basis for hours on end

So, so vague. Only a select few people would read this and be reassured.

Its happened time and time again. Enough to not give them the benefit of the doubt.

I cant fathom you "reckoning" that they are gonna back Ismael, go early in the window and improve the team.

Interesting comments from VI re transfers and "signs looking good " re incomings. Or am I just being overly optimistic

You are being overly optimistic. We have heard it all before.
