G Somerset Rover Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Rudy couldn’t pick his nose let alone a player. This window will do nothing but cement our relegation to league one. Quote

bluefred Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Get sammy back on loan from Ipswich. He’s not getting game time there . Quote
JCRovers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Out: Pears, Ribeiro (or Pickering), Gueye, De Neve (loan or permanent), Tavares (loan) In (primary): experienced striker and two attacking midfielders with a bit of pace and technique In (secondary): left wing back, box-to-box midfielder and an experienced centre back Switch formation to 3-4-2-1 instead of having a striker like Ohashi running around aimlessly on the flank and leaving no presence in the box. Ricky Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Connor O'Riordan not in the Doncaster squad today, haven’t heard he’s injured so assuming he’s on his way back for the weekend. Quote

Was injured, had an operation, currently out with flu Wage also now well beyond what Rovers could afford, even before our most recent self imposed salary cap Edited 2 hours ago by KentExile 1 Quote

When it has happened as often as it has, excuses start to wear thin. Individually yes, a player might be virtually impossible to keep. Overall, we are fucking up by not offering the going rate. To think anything else is to be kidding yourself. 1 Quote
Ghost7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago McLoughlin isn't good enough but we're desperate for him to start every game. Wrexham had so many options at the back today. Our summer business was careless, amateur... ego led and it's been found out big time. 6 Quote
RoversClitheroe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago McLaughlin and Miller are wank. Litherland and Atcheson actually are better than them 2 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The summer recruitment save for Alebiosu and Gudjhonsen was criminal. A blind man with no interest in football could have selected better off the continent than the likes of Tavares and Henriksson. Edited 1 hour ago by G Somerset Rover 2 Quote

Given the quoted prices for most of them, it smacks of the agent shenanigans that happened the year before we got relegated to League 1. Methinks Suhail having complete control both times might be related... 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted 42 minutes ago Author Posted 42 minutes ago Alan Nixon linking Gueye with a move to Shanghai Shenhua to China 4 hours ago, Ricky said: I know this might be a bit of a random idea to the shit show that run the club…… but…. Why don’t we buy a striker to play in the striker position??? We might well do to Ricky, have to see what happens now. His pace would be welcome and given he can played anything in the front line. Him running in behind the opposition defence would be welcome we need creatively in centre midfield aswell. Quote

You either have a positive outlook on life that should win you the Nobel Peace Prize or no idea what’s happening at Ewood Park if you think there’s a remote possibility of this. Quote

The club use Alan Nixon as a propaganda tool. They have purposely leaked that information immediately after the match because they realise they’ve fucked up and exactly what we feared would happen, has happened. Gueye was signed for millions of pounds and paid handsomely and has turned out to be exactly what fans of his club said he would be - not competent, not professional and not up to standard. Even if we get our money back (when Nixon says we have done, we won’t have done, remember, it’s propaganda) the reality is he was a major transfer and a major failure by Gestede and his department. 2 Quote
sverrehh Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago With Norway finally after 28 yrs qualifying for WC I bet Trondstad's perspective is this; I need to get to a different competitive club asap to increase my chances of getting picked. Sure there are four other players infront of him, but if injuries happen he has to be considered for selection. I'm not too sure about the story of his family wanting to move home to Norway. Perhaps moving away from rainy Lancashire or Manchester. Quote

All this assumes anyone might be interested in taking on Gueye (they weren't in the summer). And why would anyone be interested in DeNeve or Tavares (injured till March)? This stinking management won't let anyone join unless there is an equivalent leaver. Quote
