Ricky Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It could be wrong but it also could be VI not wanting to share that info in the window, as Mercer touched upon. If every club knows we need a striker then we will have our pants pulled down on fees. Quote

rovers11 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 3 in before the FA Cup, Val told us. This is an emergency situation, he said. We need proven domestic players, he added. Fast forward to today: Another punt from the Scandinavian leagues and a failed Birmingham loanee. And when asked "Would you be happy with just one more signing before the window closes?" Val: Yup! 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We have 2 left backs who clearly not play as wing backs. Ismael clearly doesnt want to use either there. We also have an absolute waste of space who again Ismael clearly doesnt want to use and one that he has called out for being a liability. We have spent weeks just sort of using 1, realising they arent capable of playing that position and then changing around. And he seems happy to just leave it. 2 Quote

rovers11 Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago If we are to bring in one more striker then my guess would be Cadamateri. Looks almost certain to leave Sheff W, and fee/wages within our range. Also sell-on potential. Wouldn't be against signing him as I think he'd be decent, especially in lge 1 if we do end up getting relegated. Quote
FE123 Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago I think it will be Daryl Dike to be honest. Scored goals at this level, manager knows him, surplus to requirements and MAJOR injury issues over last couple of years. Still only 25 so club will be thinking it’s a low risk deal that could pay off if he scores goals for us Quote

We have too many sicknotes as it is. 1 Quote
Emerald Isle Rover Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Cadamarteri - I personally don’t see it I could be harshly judging him in a really poor side but I don’t see the fuss. His age is an obvious plus but someone do the here and now I just don’t get the attention/hype he’s attracting Quote

To be honest, he’s got everything to be one of the best forwards in the division and only has 6 months left on his deal. Someone will sign him Quote

roversfan99 Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago Dike will be on standard Championship wages so it wont be him. Quote

He could probably have been a top end championship/low end Prem player but I genuinely don't remember when he played more than 5 games in a row. Quote

Injury prone Sounds like our man Quote
