Seen nothing to suggest two from TGH, Baradji, Taveres & Montgomery would be anywhere near good enough for this level next season, and wouldn't be great for the league below.

As regards TGH he's not bad but not brilliant. I wouldnt be chucking my toys out of the pram if we signed him (unlike Forshaw) but I wouldnt be losing any sleep over it if we didnt either.

Certainly not worth £20k p.w. if thats what it would take when deciding whether to sign him permanently imo.

For what it is worth, Football managers head of research for the EFL is a Birmingham fan, and they have TGH on £18K/week, with Rovers paying £10K/week of that

I believe they’re still looking for the ball from the one he put yards over the bar. He was pointing to where he wanted the pass to go, it was a perfect pass, and leathered it out of sight.

Wow, yeah not worth that. Half is about right. Bizarre that Birmingham agreed to pay him that sort of money then immediately cut him out of their plans.

That is a middling wage at Birmingham these days, they have a few on more than £30K/week

I think the deal for TGH to move to Birmingham permanently (at that wage) was agreed the previous summer as part of his initial loan deal & was an obligation based on them getting promoted last year

Edit - apparently the permanent deal was agreed (in advance) in February, and then after their summer recruitment spree they decided he was surplus to requirements

If you mean the Football manager game which I mentioned in another post on this thread

they had Travis at £15K/week at Rovers, £25K/week at Derby

All basic figures, you could be looking at adding another £5K-£10K/week in appearance fees, etc
