But what I am saying is either scenario falls back to poor recruitment.

Tavares is crap and Baradji is unfit. Forshaw played 3 games in a week. So if neither is seen as a potential alternative to Tronstad, why sign them both aswell as TGH who also plays a more box to box role? That suggests imbalanced recruitment signing 3 players to do the same thing.

If Tavares in particular wasnt chosen to start in any game because he is shit, in favour of repeatedly flogging Forshaw until he got injured, then again poor recruitment.

You are bloody obsess with the fact that Baradji was injured when signed. Baradji is box to box and ball carry midfielder. You seen that when watching him and researching into the type of player..

On Tavares, I dont know what type of player he is tbh. From Ismael comments he seen like box to box but not real seen that. I dont see him as defensive midfielder to be honest

So he is like a worse version of John Buckley? 😉

Why shouldn't he be? Two weeks shy of Christmas and he hasnt been fit enough to start a game yet!

If he eventually comes in and does well, and then we sign him permanently and he turns into a bit of a superstar you could excuse it but otherwise he's been a pointless and costly signing.

Well knew this with Baradji when he signed that it would be November/December time before he would fit but its a player Ismael wanted

How can any of us say assertively what Baradji is or isnt or even if he will perform that role?

Its December and hes had a few semi lively cameos against tired legs.

Didn't you look into the player and watched videos of him to see why we wanted to sign him?.

5 home games over the next 6 weeks or so. Let's hope that the 'freak' weather which is special to Blackburn Rovers according to the hierarchy doesn't cause any more abandoned games.

No we bloody well didn't. And even if we did, what difference does us knowing it make?

Half the season is half the season.

Doesn’t matter what type of midfielder they are, if they’re unfit or shite.

Useless to us either way.

We did know that Baradji would take months and months to be fit when he signed, yes.

But you can question these decisions. You dont just have to just shrug and agree.

Mind you, if Tavares wasnt so shit, maybe it wouldnt have been as problematic.

Yep, you could be Pele, Messi or Maradona but if you're in the treatment room you're as much use as I would be.

No, because the club employed Adam Owen for that.

Do we? Adam Owen is good at Video analysis which you expect given his various roles he had within football

Then time to quick pre season, get used to Training and what Ismael was going want from him.

We signed Henriksson on the 6th August, and two days later he started at West Brom, so your points about getting used to training and what Ismael wants are moot.

Morishita featured days after signing and then started the next game.

History is littered with players who move in a transfer window and start for their new clubs days after. In the case of Baradji it’s not like he’s replacing established players. We’ve got a major injury crisis so surely he should be starting even if he’s not exactly learnt every intricacy of Ismael’s tactics - especially if he’s as good as the club believe.

He’s clearly not fully right and is taking far longer than the club anticipated to be fit, which on a season-long deal is bonkers financially.

Normally I can decipher it, but this one beats me.

Adam Owen is at Ewood, due to his connections with the agency that still darkens our door.

Tbf tho the players you have stated weren’t injured. They were fit to play.

But I was replying to the point quoted, which says we can’t expect to see Baradji yet because he needs to “…get used to Training and what Ismael was going to want from him. “

Surely him being in the club for 5 months would make him more likely to understand what is wanted from him than Henriksson walking through the door and playing straight away.

He’s not starting cos they don’t trust his fitness 4 months after signing him on a 9 month deal.
