Yes, but for us to be able to do that with any real mandate, the boycott must be a success. If it isnt then Pasha will claim we are the minority so no need to recognise us and reply.

This is the crooks of the strategy but it is very difficult for many to understand that. Keep hearing" they already have my money" and " what will one game do?"

Good to hear.

Amidst all this 'painful acceptance' we cannot and must not accept their arrogant silence.

We must demand answers, they have a responsibility to communicate.

Ive heard the phrase "I want a Club to be proud of" a number of times from Herbie and others on here recently.

I dont think I would even put it that high. Id like to see a Club that is TRYING.

Everyone makes mistakes and doesnt get everything right. Nor is there a divine right to success. However if I thought I saw a Club that I thought was once again acting in good faith, TRYING to win football matches, TRYING to be successful and didnt appear to view it's supporters like something they'd just stepped in on the pavement...................

Id take that compared to what we have now.

So what's your solution?

Give up and do nothing?

They'll go when they're ready and not before,I think you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise .

You dont like giving a straight answer do you?

Are you/were you a politician in your daytime job?

Maybe they'll be "ready" a little sooner if they have to contend with some sustained criticism. We'll never know unless others try on our behalf.

We had this the other day, your problem is you can't accept an answer unless it's what you want to hear.

I'll clarify, not that it was in doubt from the last answer. It doesn't matter what anyone does, they will go when they're ready. Just why anyone would go to a home game a couple of weeks back, then suddenly come on here claiming that a boycott is the only way, is beyond mental.

If you want to stay away, then stay away, it's your prerogative, but I won't.

If you want, we can go on discussing the ridiculous contradictions from now until next Saturday, or just accept each other's decision.

Your problem is you answer a perfectly straightforward question with a statement that is completely unrelated to the question.

As for the second paragraph your view that they will only go when they are ready and nothing else will persuade them is not factual, it's purely a matter of opinion.

Finally as I stated at the time, and not that I have to justify it, my attendance at the Millwall game was a one off due to meeting up with friends. I voted with my feet about 3 years ago but would have no problem with attending the occasional game in similar circumstances just as I have no problem with anyone still attending or refusing to boycott. It's a matter of personal choice.

A boycott clearly isn't for you and that's fine. But in the circumstances I dont really know why you contribute to a thread specifically dedicated to the organisation of a boycott or to this thread where people have opened up about their dissatisfaction with the Club. All you do is pour cold water on it saying it won't work or suggest filling the ground instead which is the exact opposite of what the organisers of this ONE OFF event are trying to achieve.

I haven't poured anything on anything, not once have I urged anyone not to boycott, they can make their own mind up, the main thread is boycott or not?

Change the title yourself if you want to dictate rather than discuss.

We're helpless and we shouldn't try to do anything.

Is that a fair summary of your view?

Which is why we couldn't pick the Wednesday match for boycott

If we were properly organised as a fanbase the best thing to do would have been to get the free tickets then not show up.

Alas, we've got supposed grown ups having a cry because they've been asked to take some responsibility for improving their community.

I have just tried to do this but I cannot find the free tickets on the Rovers site.

Supporters who purchased tickets for the original fixture can claim a free ticket for this game by logging onto their e-ticketing account and selecting the FREE ticket.

I have done the above, I cannot find the free ticket option.

For all those Venky apologists whose go to refrain is ‘ who would be interested in Blackburn Rovers’, a US Baseball billionaire is about to take a controlling share of Lincoln City ! Support the boycott.

I thought you probably had but shared in case.

Another club fuck up it seems…

Or, the club read Upsidedowns earlier post about claiming the free ticket then not turning up, and have taken that option away, who knows ?

It would be interesting to know who the local supporters are or those from afar. Not that there's anything wrong with supporting from afar there are many that make the journey and support the boycott but was wondering if there's an initial divide between local people to Ewood who support the boycott as opposed to those living a distance away who will be attending. Interesting stat to think about

Pick your seats log in, and head to the tab, Adult, Child concession etc it will be the first selection. Continue as normal as though you were buying them

There must be something wrong with the site, as it is now only showing the Watford game tickets for sale. Even using the Sheff Wed link in the official post.

Thanks for your help, I have now managed to get my free ticket to a game I won't be attending.

PS. The last free ticket to a Rovers game I got, was an away game at Spurs in the seventies, it was a complimentary off one of the players as they came off the coach.

The 'official attendance' will be the same as it always is, as it counts tickets sold not bums on seats

The true figure will come in the FOI request to the police, who will release actual data

In any case, you will be able to see, visually, if there is a reduction in attendance. What Pasha points to is irrelevant.

We've read a lot about this but where are the actual attendency figures as opposed to the club's numbers?

I haven't seen them posted anywhere.
