Bloody Rovers ticketing system wont allow me to buy a ticket for this - I've been around the loop seven times so far on different devices, but it logs me out and empties my basket of the selected seat every time. I dont have the time to get to the ticket office, so it looks like someone at Ewood wants me to sit this one out. Bonkers.

Rovers 1 - 1 Sheffield Wednesday. Gudjohnsen.

Predicted team:

                              Toth

Miller    O'Riordan   McLoughlin   Cashin

                Tronstad    Forshaw

Jorgensen        Cantwell          Morishita

                        Gudjohnsen

Would honestly much prefer us to go 442, but we don't have the players to play that system.

State of the club at the moment, we need a massive clearout from top to bottom at falling apart at the seams Ewood.

Wednesday on a Tuesday.

Second time around.

Has anyone checked the forecast?

If Ismaels still in the dugout, grey and gloomy, for Blackburn Rovers.

We don't have the players, to play any system, bunch of weak willed losers, who haven't much idea what to do with a ball.

If we don't win this, it really is time to pack it in.

8 Straight defeats, no goals since boxing day.

I think we win this quite comfortably.

Rovers 2 Sheffield Wednesday 0, and another 15 games for Ismael begins regardless of results.

When you cannot create chances and score goals you are in big trouble. It's always been that way.

Our defence kept enough clean sheets last season to hide our attacking deficiencies for a while. But ultimately it cost us.

If we don't change anything, nothing will change. We are sleepwalking to relegation. I am not confident in any game we play.

I can honestly see us losing this one. If we go down early to a Sheff Wed set piece or similar I just don't see us being able to score a goal to get back in it. I am sure we will dominate the ball and territory but we seem completely unable to put the ball in the net or create gold plated chances for players to do so.

Grim.

As a plus if we do lose maybe they will finally sack Ismael as it would become untenable to keep him.

This has 0-0 written all over it.

Couple that with a defeat at Norwich and even if we change the manager, it leaves even superman ager, with too much to do.

Amazed to see I am the first to use the term "must win" for this one.

Not only for Rovers survival (a win lifts us out of the bottom three) but if there were any sanity at Rovers, Ismael's position as Chief Coach.

I tried to buy tickets on Saturday evening. The link on the website for the Sheffield Wednesday game took you to a page that said this event had happened in the past - and you couldn't buy tickets. Decided not to bother trying again.

An absolute shambles of a club.

On paper a home banker and a licence to print money.  Owls lost their last 6 league games without scoring a goal.  Their last point came against, you guessed it, Rovers on 29 December.

The reality, any result possible here.  Teams and strikers seem to enjoy ending barren runs against Rovers.

Fail to win and it may well be over for us.

Jerry Yates, and we could have done worse than to snare him, to deliver a knock out blow I fear.

No such thing as a home banker under this head coach, non.

Lots of huff and puff as usual, score just before half time, happy days.

More huff and puff, usual subs, concede ..

Players back from injury, a Sheff Wed without Bannan, we will win this.

4-0 with a Gudjonssen hat trick and a Tronstad screamer.

Bloody hell mate, how much Ringnes ale have you had?
