JUst to give a slightly less depressing slant on it.. what has been the best quality goal scored against rovers? Le Tiss for Southhampton is an obvious one.

I wouldn't say neill was an 'awful' centre back. He can fill that role ok but obviously is strongest at RB

I actually thought about the drummer during last night's game - I think there were times when the drum is good - eg when rovers are pressing then win a corner and everyone's claps together du dud du du du du du rovers! It sounds good then as it is just lost in the crowd noise, but when it sounds rubbish is during more quiet periods. If the drummer man/men are prepared to use it very little (such as the occasions above) then it would be good to stay - but whether they can hold themselves back from drumming all the time is a different matter...

Did anyone else notice that Rennie said he was going to book Neville, when he'd played advantage - but just because we scored he didn't bother!!

Yesterday just seemed to be another one of those days where we weren't any worse than portsmounth but they just created the goal chances. They sat back all game and played like the away team- but it was poor that we couldn't create anything. LONG BALL IS NOT THE FUTURE. I don't think i saew MGP have one run down the line

Thats a bit harsh - eg today 's game its miles away and not easy to get to i will probably be watching it in the pub (i realise it was probably tongue in cheek) Yeah it def happens in Bolton , but i'm sure it must happen in all parts of the country - most games are on dodgy channels every week
