The only thing that would help is to find two good goalscorers, a quick winger that's excellent at crossing, a good midfielder and a goalkeeper. All of them ready to play. Venkys spontaneously combusting would be a massive boon too.

We played okay in honesty. We just can't put teams to the sword when we're on top due to the continual neglect of the owners and their two toadies. And it doesn't help that Pears allowed a soft free kick in which was completely against the run of play.

Who cares, he took a shot and it somehow went in. The point is that we have the likes of Dolan have had chances and either taken too many touches, too long to get a shot off or their shot has been way off target.

I'll agree with you that we haven't played poorly today (Bristol have been far worse but taken their chances) but that doesn't make it any less a death spiral.

Dolan should have done better with his first chance, he should have passed it to one of the two players with a better angle to score. Pears should have done much better for their goal. Weimann or Dolan should have scored a tap in a few minutes before we got the equaliser. We could be 3-0 up.

Contrary to the scoreline, Bristol are absolutely awful. We've just no attacking threat, slow in midfield and gave away a cheap goal. We're still playing better than Bristol and losing. Another game thrown by Venkys/Pasha/Waggott.
