  1. In the first half Stoke were dirty, niggling us and stopping us from passing the ball. Now they are passing it better and we're just letting them.
  2. I think he's come down to protect the 3 points tbh. We were looking poor.
  3. He's come down from the stand.
  4. Well, Rovers have gone to shit. Believing they've done the job prematurely.
  5. It helps that two players who were injured up till today got assists, and another who only came back three games ago got the other one. Another player who has been injured up till recently has scored two.
  6. Was he your manager or head coach? What I mean by that is, was he signing the players?
  7. You mean after they fucked up the January transfer window.
  8. I'm waiting for him to say, "cup a soup."
  9. I kind of gave up recently and haven't been keeping up with injuries. Is Szmodics injured for this one?
  10. That lighting's a bit dramatic.
  11. Hopefully we're not throwing that delicious irony back up, after the match.
  12. Now I know they've had their knockers...
  13. I'll support Eustace, like Tomasson it won't be his fault when he's trying to squeeze blood from a stone. I have a terrible feeling he's going to be another Appleton though. Was he "head coach" at Birmingham too, or is that just some bullshit to avoid paying Broughton compensation?
  14. I took it that he didn't sign up for a relegation battle so if they didn't want to try and get promoted he may as well go. I suspect your second paragraph has a lot of truth to it and he thought he'd just have to make it through to January, but then it didn't happen.
  15. I hope he doesn't turn us into a Non League Barcelona.
  16. Didn't he say something like... I offered to go in the Summer when a hand grenade was thrown and the project changed to staying in this league and developing players. I'm more ambitious.
  17. Well, he said he wanted to go in Summer.
  18. Eustace will be in a hotel somewhere.
  19. I don't expect us to stay up regardless.
  20. Since the Rao's turned up I go into every a season expecting it to end painfully. And which other promotion chasing club would not support their manager in January, when in such a good position? Especially with an already stretched squad. The higher ups at the club nailed their colours to the mast with that one - there was no intention of promotion.
  21. I would, but he'd probably have a panic attack when he saw the squad.
  22. I didn't see last season as painful. It looked like finally we had some progress. Compare it to what came before, like the two 15th place finishes under Mowbray for example where he should have been replaced. Unless there's a big changes at the club we're going to go back to those days of mediocrity, but I fear it could be even worse with the way they are stripping the club of any quality. After last years 7th placed finish, the manager should have been backed. Or if they knew there were trouble ahead they should have let him go, appointed a battle axe like Warnock and appointed players for a scrap. It's not rocket science is it, but then we're told the simpletons in the office can't even click the right button.
