  1. We'll do better than Middlesbrough this season. Why? Because they haven't got the GB-JDT-Remy consortium.
  2. Glad to hear that. That's what you need from a proper footballer. "So he has the makins" so they say.
  3. He's been there for many months but the team haven't been doing as well as you would have thought.
  4. Commentator calls him Williams right at the end. He has a mental block.
  5. He's just admitted his previous mistakes
  6. If you're talking about Radio Lancs, totally disagree. The two commentators are good.
  7. Where and when can I watch the EFL Cup highlights on TV?
  8. Surely we can pick up and dispose of litter at our own ground. Nowt to do with the referee.
  9. For what it's worth he's been my favourite Rovers player for quite some time.
  10. Hopefully it will put off clubs like Southampton pinching our best players. Leave BBD here to play his football. He will be crap if he comes to you ponces in the Prem.
  11. Lead guitarist looks a bit like Matt Damon.
  12. The Nobbers didn't intend to let us down. They just couldn't win that game to prevent their own relegation. They were rank bad. Nothing changes where PNE are concerned. 🤣
  13. Not at this club if Lenihan, Rothwell and Nyambe are anything to go by.
  14. And we've no Nyambe to step in either.
  15. If that's true I feel sorry for the lad. What a blow for him just as he was about to push for a first team place. Shit news!..............for him and us.
  16. Ha ha. I had to use Wikipedia to look at Posh's current squad to find out who JCH was. I'm not going to tell you either.
  17. Anyone on this message board who watched Simon Garner when he was in the youth team?
  18. Thanks for your comments, Joe. I know an Ipswich Town supporter, Keith who lives in Walton-on-the-Naze. He's not been a happy bunny for a few seasons now. Hope you get promotion this season. It's about time.
  19. That's one hell of a walk. Most Briggers would catch the train to Mill Hill or get the Premier coach or BBMS double decker. My mate, Frank, who supported Rovers from 1945 to 2020 (he died) once caught the bus from Hoghton and got off at The Fieldens Arms, Feniscowles to "quickly and easily" walk from there along Livesey Branch Road. Ha! He didn't realise how long Livesey Branch Road was and got on the ground 20 minutes after kick-off.
  20. That Szmodics looks a bit tubby. More tubby than Dunny used to look. But he looks useful. Sounds like his name is pronounced Smoditch.
