I am amazed at how mature Scott Wharton is. The loan out has made a great player out of him. Future captain. One criticism, Nyambe is so frustrating as an attacking wing back. Pickering is great at going forward. Ryan always stops and plays the safe pass rather than have a go down the touchline and cross the ball. Surely he needs extra coaching. -

It's on Rovers TV for £10 -
No surprise there. I'm surprised they have lasted so long.

WIR I take it those previous results were taken from a Posh site? Anyway, 1-0 Rovers at half time. 3-0 Rovers at full time. -

Oh dear. I don't know what I can do about it. However I have discovered that it is only the bottom inch of the tab where the cursor fails to activate a link. If I move the link up to 2 inches above the bottom it works perfectly. Also seems to be only on BRFCS site. A screen shot may not be of help.

Is that only his second ever league goal? The one he scored for us against Middlesbrough was a cracker.

OK. So Nyambe had a stinker. Maybe he wasn't as fit as he should have been. Maybe he was ill and didn't know it. Or maybe he just had a stinker. Believe it or not I'm old enough to remember Bryan Douglas having a stinker too. He (Nyambe) and we will get over it. TM said in his interview on Radio Lancs that he had wanted to bring on Ayala earlier to deal with their direct football and long throw-ins. That's why Ayala came on for the injured Poveda. Glad we got a point. Should've been 3. Mowbray out.

Tom Sharratt. Lived in Coupe Green, Hoghton. Local councillor first for South Ribble as Labour and, when he fell out with the party, formed his own party named "Idle Toad". Later he was our representative at Lancashire County. He must have been gone 90 years old. He had long white whiskers looking like Father Christmas. In his early years he lived on Preston Old Road, Cherry Tree about 300 metres from the tall railway bridge towards Blackburn. RIP Tom; a good man.

I upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey last week when it offered the upgrade. And what is meant by Beta releases?

It's at it again. Reading the last page of the Bristol City thread, up pops a new comment. I click on "Show reply" and nothing happens. Previous, Next and chevrons work ok.

It seems to be the position of the cursor to bring up the message of what I want to do. Sorry, I'm not technical enough to explain.

Started this evening. I've just checked "Automatically use Reader" which was off for brfcs.com but on for Rovers.co.uk. I've turned "on" for this site to see if that makes any difference. No it doesn't because I've tried to submit this post and not working. I have to try a few times before it works.

I can read a page of a topic but to go to the next page (click on NEXT) does nothing. "Go to topic listing" also doesn't work. There is a tab on the right labelled "privacy" which I have opened and agreed but it is still there. I have a Mac book and recently upgraded to Mac OS Monterey. I've shut down and restarted but to no avail. Help!

BRFC - The Nostalgia Thread

In this video, at 0.30 it shows Ronnie Clayton, Dave Whelan and a person who looks like Russ Abbott. I was expecting Dougie to be with Ronnie but not so. Any ideas? -
Why did the Albanian who did the bicycle kick attempt to score get booked? Ok, he kicked one defender head whilst another defender head crashed against the previous head. If the answer is because raising a boot to head height is dangerous play, then every goal scored by a bicycle kick should be chalked off and the player should be booked. This has been a conundrum for me for a long time because a player who attempts the bicycle kick has no idea if a defender's head is going to be there or not.
