The thought of Birmingham City always makes me smile. Years ago Jasper Carrot was in a sketch with Robert Powell, sitting in a prison cell where there was a bucket of faeces. No they can't. They play Sheff W so need at least a draw to make it 44 points. If they lose, Sheff W go above them on goal difference.

What a day Saturday will be. If Rotherham fail to win they will be relegated. If Derby win they will be safe. If Sheff W beat Derby they will stay up only if Rotherham fail to win. If Sheff W draw with Derby and Rotherham win, Wednesday and Derby get relegated. I think it will be Derby County who will survive. I cannot see Rotherham getting 3 points at Cardiff. And Derby will scrape a draw.

Don't forget Carter who, IMO, has played well for us despite his own goal. He seems to have developed well under Jimmy Floyd H.

Evans played DM and did very well. Rothwell was his usual good self but I thought his season was finished when he slipped on a heavily watered Ewood pitch. I thought he had done his groin. Travis nearly had the team down to 10 men when he stupidly barged in to their player in their half of the field early in the first half. After that he was quiet but ok. He needs a good coach for advice as does Nyambe.

Bristol City lost 3-2 at home to Luton Town. It's taking Pearson a long time to organise his squad. However, I bet they do well next season.

Travis is an idiot

I tried to pick a team of our players only, including some youngsters on the bench and got lost and had to give up. Will Nyambe be fit? If not, Travis should start at RB. HB has to start alongside Lenihan. Bell instead of Douglas. Midfield needs Buckley and Davenport and possibly Rothwell. Up front I'd like to see Brereton and Armstrong but with who? Probably Dolan. Bench has to have Pears, Gallagher, Douglas, Branthwaite, Then we have the old brigade of Evans, Johnson and Bennett. Nolan, McBride, oh stuff it. I don't know anymore..........Bloody Shambles!

I have a horrible feeling that if Mowbray does leave his replacement will be Pulis. I would love for Ainsworth to be the man rather than Wilder whose heart is still with the Blades. We are still owned by Vs. Not hopeful at all.
