Otzumer and wildschut on loan are not better signings than Davenport and Rothwell. What has Otzumer done in the championship, is he not bought on potential too? Wildschut is a loan. Let's see who will have the most sell on value in a season or two. The rose tinted view some fans have of other clubs is hillarious. Making out Mcmanaman is some amazing signing for Wigan yesterday. If we signed him people would be saying he hasn't done anything in the last 3 seasons.

Now, now nobody likes a bragger. You called it, but you had zero idea that this would happen today. -
Bah humbug

We know all about Hurst He was our nemesis for a large part of last season. A bit of a calculated gamble of an appointment. Is he been given any money to spend? -
His release clause better be at least 30 million. I am actually serious. If he has a good season, that's what we could and should be looking at

Go away out of that, if we were signing McManaman you and others would be saying he hasn't done anything of note in the last 3 seasons, and you would be right

No, I live in Ireland and have a young family. -
What demographic?

How did he even see him playing for Fleetwood?
-
The purse strings need to be loosened so. Signing him for that amount is a no brainer. I can't see his value decreasing

Already are what? How can we be outbid on a player we weren't interested in?
-
Would he be discussing personal terms if no bid had been accepted? Maybe he could be I suppose
-
He said Maddison was discussing personal terms with a club last week. If they have rejected 3 bids from Derby, it wouldn't make sense it was them.

Funny how some fans are saying we shouldn't spend 3 million on Armstrong, yet are complaining we don't pay over the odds to sign other players quickly, like the centre half from Charlton. You would swear some fans would never be happy. In today's market 3 million for Armstrong is a no brainer. No sell on clauses on top of that though. If they want a 20/25% sell on clause, the fee should be 1.5 million max
-
If Armstrong is available for 3 million, we need to sign him. No messing around. He can play in two of the positions we crucially need filling, he knows the club and fits in well with the players already here. I will be annoyed if he goes somewhere else for 3 million. It's undoubtedly an investment

It's crazy how far we have gone behind Liverpool. We used to always give them a good game in the premiership and often came out on top. The money they have spent on players, 70 million goalie on the way. I'd say they could be cities closest rivals next season
-
Top end championship? Lol. They brought on a midfielder who cost £55 million
-
I can't even remember the name. It may have been a panorama special. I will try and find it
-
I actually think we are passing it pretty well
-
Without the Gerrard factor its a no brainer.

Wow, I hope you are right
